Dead State is a narrative-driven survival RPG set at the dawn of the undead apocalypse. Drawing inspiration from classic RPGs like Fallout, X-Com, and Suikoden, Dead State combines strategic, turn-based combat with base building mechanics, character creation, and social management.

"Thousands of years ago six demon kings, known as the Revenants, ruled the world with an iron fist and bloody swords. Donning the bodies of mortal vassals, they could live in the realms of man forever. The great hero and warlock Harbinger was the only one who could stand up to their power. One by one he hunted the Revenants, taking their spirits and casting them into the Well of Souls. Alas, the Revenants survived. Second game set in the Icewind Dale region of the Forgotten Realms.

No map or fast travel in this isometric RPG with turned-based combat. Underrail values exploration so much that the default progression system relies solely on finding special items (called oddities) instead of piling up experience points for every critter killed or quest completed. The game is not shy on dialog and characterization, but its heart beats for combat, crafting and the endless possibilities of stealth, brute force, traps or psychic warfare in a subterranean wasteland rife with loot and danger.

Risen 3: Titan Lords is a action role-playing game, the sequel to Risen 2: Dark Waters. The third installment will return to the medieval setting of the first Risen instead of reviving the pirate theme of the second.
