I got this game and right away I cant stand the camera angle, it feels like you are playing in a cave. You cannot look up!!!!!!!! No sky to see, nothing. Can't get in first person mode, sheeesh I just cant keep playing like this without being able to look up. Like you got a stiff neck and cant move!...

I got the game today also. Yeah, there was no Widescreen option so was worried but you don't need that option afterall, the game auto-detects somehow that you got a widescreen monitor and the Widescreen option is not needed for us Widescreen gamers. The highest video resolutions go up to 1600 x 1200...

and as for the heat haze - i think it's supposed to be there. it's only apparent from about 1000 till 2000 - just like the real LA. Just like the real L.A. , yeah okay whatever! I loaded the newest ATI drivers to try to get rid of that haze, that oven heat effect I was seeing at the start of the game in that neighborhood you first start out in. Yep, just picked up the game at Best Buy and installed it, it looks beautiful in widescreen. Maxed out draw distance, man this game is really sweet looking.

And the maps are HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
