Thing is, someone that is evil by being quiet, manipulative and overall fairly unassuming while scheming away in the background is never going to have the same impact for anyone as someone who is "in your face" I'm-going-to-blow-up-the-universe evil. It's one of my gripes about "good or evil" choic...

Technically the Joker would be a comic book villain who happens to make an appearance in games as well. Or do they simply count? I don't know... was Irenicus really that good a villain? Wasn't all bad, sure. But Shao Khan, well, lots of people had trouble with him I suppose, and he's appeared in sev...

So basically nothing changes, except the names. Meh, I've been heading to amd.com for a long time already to get my GPU drivers.

Well, that's another couple less XBox Live! accounts. Of the type we can miss tbh.

I'm liking how MS is hammering the brats :D

Often it's hard to tell, but there are clues: - IPS screens are much more expensive than TNs. A 24" monitor for $200 will be TN with little doubt. - Viewing angle. Often 176 or 178º for IPS panels. A TN will have a lot less. - Sometimes an IPS panel is advertised as such. As awareness of panel types...

Well it ignored my setting for not updating, because they gave it a new name: PvZ, GOTY edition.

Includes some new features though. More zombie goodness :D

That would be useful as a central server for a business where every workstation relies much on the server power, due to working through a browser.

Might speed things up a little. Does require some proper LAN as well though ;)

Oh that's just silly.

How about we start removing all characters resembling someone in real life from every game? That'll be a lot of fun.

Hmm... should I tell Steam to stop updating PvZ or not? Oh the dilemma.

Running SF4 in a wider aspect would lead to practical problems with arena edges and wall jumps. And maybe some other things. I'm afraid vert- or letterboxing is the only proper way for a game like this, since the width is a decisive factor for the gameplay.

People, calm down, it's all very simple. Question: Why do companies keep their customers happy? Answer: Because happy consumers may buy more. If happy consumers do not buy significantly more than unhappy consumers, then there is no reason to keep consumers happy. Companies don't care about their cus...

Yes, I'm still using a 1920x1200 monitor. Haven't had it for that long... HP ZR24w. It's a 24" IPS display. Bezels aren't overdone. And it has DP. Cost me €400 though, so it might be slightly out of your mentioned price range. It does move easily into portrait mode though, which might be interesting...

New video drivers hmmm? I suppose I'll update then. Currently some games have an occasional 10-second freeze (max. once per session on Forged Alliance, though Trine managed it twice in a row, once), with Windows log claiming a graphics hardware crash... last time it mentioned displayport failure or ...

Yes, well, I already have one of the downloaded copies of SFIV. Paid for it though (Steam). I wonder if they counted those downloads as well with their 2 million...
Anyway, I don't think 'upgrading' would be a good idea anyway, so let them have their fun with the console market :)

Resolution won't fly with this new fangled 1080p being all the hype. :( Yeah, it's a shame really. 1080p screens can't run 1600x1200 for older non-widescreen games. Personally I'd settle for a bit more than 2ms response. 2ms is just ridiculous imho. Also, if you have an IPS, you'll have those viewi...
