With the Dell 2405 all you have to do is press the front panel menu button, ie the third/middle button. Bottom of the menu will simply say 1920x1200 dvi 60hz etc when you are displaying that res. If you are running a game at 1600x1200 say, then there are 2 lines. First says 1600x1200 and underneath ...
