You never said what resolution you intend to use. If your not gaming at 1920 or above resolutions i dont think you need to jump yet. It seems more and more PC games are 360 ports with no graphical advantage to the PC. I say wait...

that is a good price, unfortunately in Australia it is not so good. I think the cheapest ATI 4870 is about 325 Aus and the nVidia 280 600 Aus. Too big a gap. Do buyit offer international shipping?

I am an nVidia fanboy usually but now i am builidng a new mid spec build i think i will go for the 4870 on a price/performance reason. use the application FRAPS to watch framerates. A Paddy, if tyhe move is on the cards mate, looks like they 3 WS projector setup and SoftTH may be a reality soon!!! :)

not made use of the num pad as my keyboard doesnt have one! doesnt the patch remove this feature? definately needs night mod. too light otherwise

GTR2 is a very undemanding game so you could easily force vsynch on and still have no issues. assuming you meant 8000 gts or 8800 gtx. the very low model would struggle a bit more.

Not over impressed personally. It has not hooked me any more than HL2. So buggy, like having to wait for people to move out of doorways cos they are unmoveable, terrible ai which was supposedly its selling point.
