I have heard the headplug uses a mean ass resolution and that the HDR is amazing. I would like to give it a try .

I believe your friend. Disc emulators are commonly used for piracy, and certain publishers think they can fight piracy by making their games not work if disc emus are detected. These devices get distributed in demos too. True, but that's also a huge assumption by publishers. I use Alcohol to store ...

KOJiN: Yeah, i know there's a slight performance hit... but i prefer watching my nukes in slow-mo. :P  At MaxCameraHeight=610 I didn't notice any decernable lag on my 6800GT, with the exception of super-weapons. But then it's always lagged when you use nukes/scuds. I haven't updated to 1.08... ...

I dug up this old title to see if it had widescreen support. None. I also check .cfg files, tried googling for parameters which may enable it... zip. The best you can play is 1280x1024, and doesn't look so hot on a 16:10 screen because it's squished. Here's some screenshots to show what i mean. 4:3 ...

I sent an email too... a lot of good it will do too; EA doesn't really care for support. I prefer AA over BF2 anyhow. A part of what i wrote: I would have thought widescreen was a ‘must have’ feature on a cutting edge game like BF2 because true widescreen REALLY shows the game off. Yes, widescreen i...

That simply means you need a BIGGER monitor with a HIGHER resolution, that's all. :D The moving leaf was great, but the 'grass...
