| Vector : you really should download the torrent. If a piece is corrupted the torrent client will re-download ONLY the affected piece. FEAR Combat : The free multiplayer version of FEAR was scheduled for release today. But i've had no email and no gaming news sites have posted ftp links. Is it up yet?

| no offense to any ATI fans reading this, but ATI has always been considered the follower of nVidia. nVidia pushes out new R&D technologies like shaders 3.0 and HDR, and ATI implement them too... shortly after. That's not necessarily a negative thing. I'm scratching my head trying to think of any new... |

Marketing is everything.
Indeed it is. eg. Microsoft.
Some may say HD video is pointless, but there was a preview trailer for Ghost Recon Advanced Warrior that was released at 1920x1200... and the quality was MINDBLOWING. nVidia doesn't need to sell HD - I'm already sold! :lol: |

| TF2 was CGI, so looks good but is no indication of the final product. I'm not getting excited about this because Valve has done nothing to tidy up HL2 DM so their track record is BAD. :( |

| Yeah, its too bad the Doom3 engine hasn't been fully exploited. Apart from Q4 and now Prey, what other games have used it? Anything that isn't set in futuristic coridoors? |

Driver 2 never appeared on the PC, and Driv3r sucked so much it was practically a black hole... ;)
LOL, that's a good one!
Driv3r had so much potential, but bugs just killed it. They got too distracted with Ridley Scott doing that short Driv3r film. :( |

| I enjoyed the demo only coz it was free. The grandpa and girl could have died sooner. :p Prey looks like a great Multiplayer game to pull out at LAN parties; otherwise single player looks like Quake v4.1 In multiplayer, it's just too funny seeing people running up walls and camping from the ceiling.... |

| True -- no need to expand the game... it was already on the knife's edge of repetition. However i'm hoping the expansion will improve multiplayer a bit. That would be nice. :D |

Good point. They'll probably release some performance tweaks after i buy a 7950GX2 and no longer have "performance issues". ;) |
