If I remember well:
I used the arrow keys to flip the pages.
I made my selection on the last page using the mouse.
I use a key (A ?) to exit the book...

If you can't get through with this information, I could try back in the game...

Tried RacerS patch with Steam version, it crashes the game (once you press *) unless you use the noCD executable (trl.exe).
Don't know if it's the same story with non-Steam version...
Works great now!

I use the usefull part of this thread to configure both ini files for 3840x1024. Everything looks acceptable to me but: When I get to a 2D scene (Specifically the baby book to set special strenghts at the beginning) I see it fully (Now that I set the FOV in fallout.ini to 150) but the arrow doesn't ...

I was able to have my TH2G working with an Anatek power supply so they will change my power unit for $20.00 shipping included. (Too bad I don't have any 5V 3A laying around somewhere. The TH2G analog uses ~1.8 A) There is still a small distortion at the very top of my screens though. If it's still t...

OK, bought TRA on Steam.
It worked but not in menus and it was sometime going from old to new FOV.
I installed the hatred tra.exe and everything is fine now.

Just did a fresh install after a motherboard/CPU/video card change and still no crosshair for me.

I guess I could tape something in the middle of my middle screen...

Time for an update.

First reply from Steam : Try crosshair 1 in the console.

Tried it - no joy.

Second reply : flush the steam directory and the half-life 2 sub-dir then restart, check your game cache and restart game.

Tried it - No joy.

Waiting for solution #3...

I hope it will count for the definitive solution :).
I will tell them about HL2, HL:Source and Lost coast, they all have the same problem.

It look like a B semi-automatic answer:
A- We are not aware
B- We are aware
I will send them an e-mail tonight hoping for the same answer ;).

I guess I should also e-mail Valve, with enough request they might finally fix it.
It's strange that it seems to work at least for one person in this thread...

I just tried back HL:S, HL2 and Lost Coast and there's still no crossair.
(Ep1 and Ep2 are OK)

I stopped and started back Steam with the same results.

I changed resolution to 1280x1024 (Got Crossair) and back to 3840x1024 (No Crossair).

Any hints ?

That's what I have on my setup (Center panel in front of the side ones).
The borders are not a big problem for me because I'm doing mostly racing simulation, so my eyes are focused on the center one and the side monitors gives me peripheral vision of other cars in tight situations.

I have a 6800GT and a P4 at 3Ghz and I agree with the others, Lost Coast is playable at 3072x768. Your CPU being faster it should be even better for you.
If I remember correctly I got 42fps in the test run at 3072x768.
