Still texture pop up issues I reported from the first beta that have seemingly gone unnoticed. If they can't even change the distance that textures are brought from low to high resolution, I am not holding my breath on the eyefinity issues anyway :) It could be part their whole "it's not optimized ...

Their beta forums noted that both SLI/Crossfire as well as Surround/Eyefinity are (still) known issues. I gave it a run in Eyefinity and nearly every issues that has been noted still remains. Login screen: not fixed. Normally you should easily make out the "2" logo. Zoomed. Character creation: not f...

Also got one to spare as well. Need to find a venue to post it on so it can be put to good use. Something tells me I'll end up on gwguru just so it'll get taken up right on the spot. Well, it's the last beta before it going gold. What will we get when the doors open? Wish I could test Crossfire + Ey...

I'm late on the report because I jumped in as soon as the door opened. I had planned on re-reporting the issues with multi-monitor but it seems that they have noted the issues in a "Known Issues" post on their forums. Here's a copy of the "Hardware Compatibility" section: We are currently optimizing...

Being late in the game, I thought I'd chime in on the whole thing. Yep, PC gaming is becoming more bland by the month, not by the year. It was nice to see some of the new games coming out on PC back in the days. And back in the days, you'd have companies like CryTek, DICE, and Infinity Ward making g...

I curse the 680 and 690 for running BF3 so damn well. I have already invested in my current 6950 crossfire setup. I wish I could say that I know what people talk about when it comes to stuttering and all. But I just don't seem to understand it fully to know what I am particularly looking for. Alas, ...

Andrew Patrick of ArenaNet made a post on the beta forums responding to the current issue with Eyefinity (and hopefully Surround too). To quote: Thanks for the report. We will be working with ATI directly to address graphics issues in the future. Maybe we'll see proper Eyefinity (and maybe Surround)...

I don't run bezel compensation and I can confirm that on my triple-wide setup (1680x1050x3) does not have centered HUD. I will take a look thru their support forums to see whether or not this is a confirmed issue and nag 'em about it. I am all for having centered UI but I'd rather have adjustable UI...

Since my main game focus right now is BF3... that's where I'll be most interested in. The numbers do look good for that game... but... as mentioned, the issue may be video memory. 3GB seems to be the key and vital point when it comes to gaming in multi-monitor situations. And I ain't too sure if nvi...

Jet... Set.... Radiooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo~~~ Man those were the days. The only thing I am wondering is whether or not SEGA is going to do custom tags. It was possible to do such a thing in the original... but you were limited in a few ways, especially in graphic support. I hope that SEGA ...

These days the notion of "DLC" has really screwed up how we view "add-ons", "expansion packs", and little extras that used to come with games "back in the ol' days." I have yet to buy a single DLC because much of the DLC that are being sold are just not worth the price that they're being advertised....

I was stuck between the two but I sided with Myst since I played that and very little of Prince of Persia. Both are visually great in their own right. I love how smooth the animation is on PoP and it did wonderfully well for its time. On the other hand, Cyan's Myst game gave us a glimpse into a fant...

I missed the start of this thread... so I'll repeat some of the things that has been said here. Origin as a software, I don't mind much. My biggest gripe is the EULA. EA wants to collect info. I want no part of that. There's nothing to opt out of it unless you want to go through the boring f'ing pro...

It'll be interesting to see what nvidia can come up with. But as long as they intend to stick to requiring SLI to run Surround, I don't intend to switch back. That's the one thing they lack right now. I don't even care if they're the fastest of the bunch. 1 5850 was enough to run Bad Company 2 in tr...

Okay, I finally got around to installing and... while the game has some interesting gameplay, it doesn't feel like Tribes... yet an imitation of it. Resolution selection sucks big-time. I could not even select 1680x1050 for single-monitor gaming. All I have for single-monitor resolution is 800x600.....

Can someone do a comparison screenie between the previous max details and the now high-res max details? I do not have the game but know someone who does. I'm curious as to see what kind of visual improvements (if any) there are to getting this add-on.

I just installed this to try out their centered taskbar solution. Centering it does work but is not perfect on my end. This could be due to me running WindowBlinds on my rig. Can someone test this bit and see if you're getting visual glitches with the start panel/menu? On my end, the left half is dr...
