Nope. I'm receiving these in that raw format, but all other mail comes in perfectly fine. It's only the WSGF reply notifications which come in this format. My ISP reports: Thank you for your email, To answer your questions, the headers are added during the email's trip. As it passes through each ind... |

I've checked since posting last and, as I suspected, I don't actually have Spam filtering enabled on any of my ISP email accounts. The only thing I have active is the Junkmail feature of Outlook, and that doesn't add headers. Edit: I've sent a query to my ISP, to confirm whether this comes from ther... |

skeeder, the whole point of the topic is that I want notifications, and am investigating why such messages from this specific forum come in such a way.
It's unusual behaviour |

I use Outlook, and can't find any settings which seem in any way relevent.
Anyways, as mentioned WSGF forum notifications are the only mail whatsoever for which this occurs. |

Notifications of replies I receive from WSGF always seem to carry a really lengthy message header which forces me to scroll well down into the message to get to the topic link. This is the only forum I'm subscribed to for which this happens. I've removed my email address from the following, but the ... |

Thanks, Ibrin. The link is appreciated, and I hope the venture proves beneficial in both directions. I'd encourage others, too, to contribute content to this wonderful website or to promote the site elsewhere. Widescreen Gaming Forum is providing a very valuable service to gamers everywhere. cuthroat, I'm not really experienced at tweaking color profiles for DVD viewing. There's a handy guide to tweaking color profiles at TweakGuides and perhaps a bit of googling might uncover some information about what changes to make to suit your display for DVD viewing, of the onscreen display of yo... |

Thanks for the praise :D I hope it ends up promoted to a wider audience, and can be of assistance to people. Many people really are somewhat naive about widescreen viewing, and it's not restricted to games on the PC. It's really grating, for example, to walk into so many stores and other businesses ... |

I've written up an article called Widescreen Gaming which covers the basic concepts involved and describes the procedures/techniques involved with tweaking game installations. The target audience of the article is the less tech-savvy everyday consumer. There is some detailed explanation provided for... |

From that pic, STALKER will hardly be graphically backwards. I don't think DX10 will make that much of an impact for a while... Precisely. It's a downright shame to see all the waffle written about how DX9 games are now 'outdated' because DX10 is here. Truth is, the potential for any DX version is ... |

Some people have had trouble finding the 'Fixed Aspect Scaling Ratio' setting within recent Nvidia drivers. It could be because the driver installation has configured your widescreen monitor to act as an HDTV. I've provided a full description of how to access the setting (using the 93.71 driver) in ... |

Hi all, and thanks for the great resource you provide! If any Nvidia users are still reporting that they can't achieve pillarboxing, here's how to do it using the 93.71 drivers: Using Classic View * First select 'nView Display Settings' and click on the 'Device Settings' button. Deselect "Treat digi... |
