Using WebKit and a super sweet new homepage == win. Totally digging the overhaul too. If they just fix some systray popups, I'll be happy. atm some of them are missing text, sometimes completely blank.

If they implement dedicated servers, I guess there's no point in asking for drop-in joining. D:

Ehh, I think you're talking about the deffered shading? Which is probably not possible to remove or "fix," only reduce the effect of. That'd be Tanuki's solution then.

Is there a cinematics area somewhere in the singleplayer menus? Blizzard usually keeps something like that, though it should've been at the title. Then again, it's like a 12-year-old game. Can't remember.

I always take the "reviews" with a grain of salt but it just sounds like the game is supposed to beat you up repeatedly and give you a half-assed multiplayer experience. Just not my kinda game, I guess.

Yeah, they ran out of UT3 keys last holiday, I think. Nothing really new. >_>

Oh yeah, would definitely like to try Halo Wars on PC.
Also, dunno what the big whoop is about Demon's Souls. From what I hear from a mate in class and Yahtzee's review, it sounds like an absolutely horrid experience.

Yeah, thinking about putting the Warden Commander's armor back on. Doesn't seem as great for a tank.

Gonna play this in a bit or tomorrow, but if it's just the area name upon entrance like in Diablo, no big deal. I'd say to leave it certified. And yeah, if it bothers anyone enough, you might be able to ask them for a small fix.

In my opinion, Serious Sam is first and foremost a coop game. You can play it single player and we are working on a deathmatch patch, but nothing beats the carnage of 16 Santas shooting cannon balls at headless suicide bombers. trufax. I played this with my buddy split-screen on the Xbox and it was...

The only difference is in the coop mode that is limited to 4 players versus 16 in the PC version.

Wait. There's 16p co-op?! I really need to save up some pennies.

I really want to get this after seeing this report now. Truly deserving of the "HD" in the title.

The HUD might be built for 16:9, but the fov certainly doesn't seem like it. After sinking 50+ hours into it, I still think it feels small and restricted, and sometimes dizzying.

So I bought GTAIV partly because people always bitch about GFWL and this being one of those that were implemented poorly. I don't see it. If anything, Rockstar Game Social Club launcher thing is more annoying...

Don't suppose you have a screenshot? I've never had trouble telling percentage of health before and I can't think of what you're describing.

My truckload of standardized DVD-boxed games is enough trouble. I lov...
