Hi again I have TrackIR. I actually did a lot of lobbying to get it in race sims years ago. I use it in rFactor and TDU (as well as flight sims). I got my first unit in 2001, I think it was. I have TIR 4 now. Couldn't get along without it. I think for single screen gaming it works just great but on...

Re-FSX , yes it looks awesome (better with that patch they released a long while back) but it really comes alive with a Track-Ir. I concur on the FC2, very nice indeed. TDU also can use a Track-Ir for reference. I've found Track-Ir less usefull in racing games like GTR Evo and iRacing, you seem to n...

Ah see I said I didnt know, and highest rez I can use is 3840x1024 and i'm guessing 5040x1680 is a bit of an ask for most programs/games.
Perhaps the next simbin engine will be able to handle it, better start lobbying now so they know theres a demand for it.

This was updated recently, havent tried it myself, but it sounds like it may be ok for higher fov's.

Updates to Race 07 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

Maximum FOV is now 150 instead of 120

Agreed that using a track-ir in racing games with th2go isnt quite right, tho for a demonstration to other people, in car view is impressive ,but not really useful for serious racing. However there is 1 app I know works in th2go and track ir, and thats fsx. Its a lot more intuitive, and precision at...

To Deckard: as long as the monitor is capable of displaying 1680x1050@57 you can use any combination of monitors you want. However I doubt very much you'll find a 5:4 monitor that does wide screen res (a CRT might but not LCD) How bout a 2nd th2go running 3840x1024 but with only the outside monitor...

I have a question thats sorta related , so sorry for hijacking your thread. Triple head setups run either at 3x 4:3, 3x 5:4, 3x 16:9, 3x 16:10 if i'm not mistaken. Running 3 displays on any of the above will bring distortion at the outer monitors, which isjust the way it is (exceptions rFactor etc)....

I seem to remember having problems when I was using the analog th2go, not sure its the same problem tho. I think I changed video drivers from manufacturers to reference or the other way round. This may be handy for you people with a G15 http://www.nogripracing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32545 Its an app for the G15 keyboard so if you like its a mini hud right in the centre of the screen, very useful. I find the G15 invaluable for use with a tri-screen setup, if a little expensive, but hey...
