I'm okay with being second. I wasn't trying to race anyone. I just wanted to get a fix out as soon as possible to help keep my inbox from blowing up. :) I'd probably have finished it sooner but I've been fighting a cold for a week now and spent a lot of time sleeping. I'm just glad to have it done f...

Is there something wrong with them? Are you referring to the performance? I know the blur can take its toll on performance, but there's really not much to be done about it. We both already force the blur to the normal amount when using surround. Disabling it permanently would be a bad thing for fair...

Alright. I managed to get everything working in SP and MP except a couple of things. I worked on SP mostly, then copied that stuff over to MP and fixed more stuff there, then copied that stuff back to SP, and then back to MP, and then back to SP, until I have what I have. Movies are still like the a...

I suppose if they're allowing it then there's no harm in adding it at the user's discretion.

I switched from 4800x900 windowed to 6056x1080 and it appeared that the movie filled out the center screen correctly, too (along with the left side, and the right side is blank). https://impas.se/s/h7aH96lg.png At this point I consider the SP plugin done for the most part. The mouse is stuck on the ...

I think my fix is almost done (for SP). I started playing with trying to center/correct the aspect-ratio of the movies that play and I found a value there that fixed the scaling on my objective text and other little popups that appear (like pressing C to crouch). I also managed to (kind of) fix the ...

I uploaded r674. It's getting there. SP is almost completely centered now. Other than the main menu and some objective/mission text it seems like it's all there. I had the rest of the stuff sorted out but crashed the game and didn't feel like looking into it any more tonight. As for MP, the HUD is n...

I uploaded r673 that works with v3.2 and has more HUD centering for both SP and MP, but it's still not all there yet, especially MP.

The mouse not working is kind of normal for CoD actually. You can still use the keyboard to navigate all of the menus just fine.

I'm still working on centering everything. I made some decent progress earlier today on the SP side. I'll see what I can do in a little bit.

I uploaded r671. It has some HUD improvements but there's still more to be done. In single-player the HUD is centered but there are still various things that are stretched out, and maybe some other things I haven't ran across yet. In multi-player the HUD is shrunk to the very left screen, and some e...

I haven't really messed around with quality settings yet to get performance out of it. It seems very demanding. You'll just have to configure the settings to your liking for performance and looks.

I didn't set this game to enable automatically. You'll just have to hit the hotkey to enable it once in game. The default hotkey is *.

Uploaded r669 for now. All it does at the moment is fix the aspect-ratio. The HUD is still a work in progress. I've managed to center some things and not others. I just need to dig deeper.

This game is massive. I'll probably have more time spent in downloading it than actually hacking away at it.

Could you let me know which path it was looking for, which path you had, and what you changed to correct it?

This way I can try to fix it. Thanks.

Hello, It's been some time since I've posted. I've been really busy with work since I took a promotion quite some time ago. Not much progress has happened with Widescreen Fixer in all of that time. helifax continues to work on and support his own plugins. Hopefully we'll get them integrated directly...

I wonder if the registry path has changed for Windows 8?

I'll try to add a fallback method if it can't detect the path.
