I have an nVidia card and the latest drivers. Aspect scaling still works great for me.

I guess it's dependent on drivers, monitor and cards. It certainly didn't work on my 6800 GS with the 94.24s and the last 2 drivers for my 8800 haven't worked either.

That's a problem with having an Nvidia card, scaling has been nerfed for ages now.

I think he just means that Eternal Darkness was their flagship game or the game that put them on the gaming map, much like a wrestler has a "signature" move that he or she is known for.

i went through this a while ago and as far as i could find, there's no way to fix it. There's a program called DXWnd or something like that that lets you run it in a window but it's glitchy and slow so i can't really recommend it.

Apparently there is a "FovAngleDegrees=75.000000" setting in the file Default.ini

Anybody tried adjusting this yet?

I just tried it, doesn't do anything.

Either set up fixed aspect ratio scaling in your driver settings or get a program called DX Windower.

Man, you'd need some kind of supercomputer to run this game on triplehead.

From what i understand, this game brings every single computer built today to it's knees.

That being said, the beta was fun, although performance was abysmal.

GFX card and RAM is good, single core not so good, it'll run fine but don't expect to be playing against many AI.

Well, judging by the state of Nvidia's drivers, no, the scaling has been buggered for a while now. I guess it depends on whether your monitor can do it. Have you had a look in your monitors OSD for any scaling options?

[quote]I'm obviously not going to post a source for this BUT, there have been patches released that allow you to play both Halo 2 and Shadowrun on XP.

Really? I thought it was just Shadowrun that was cracked...

Halo 2 was recently cracked by Razor1911.
