[quote]lol .... more proof that the FOV was no widescreen "design decision" or widescreen "artistic decision" .... I hadn't read this thread before, because I didn't want to see any spoilers until I finished the game. But oddly enough, while playing this part of the game, I had exactly the opposite...

[quote]still looks zoomed to me sorry that just doenst work and your sill missing part of the screen in 16:9 You've stretched it in only one dimension, not simply increased the size until that the horizontal dimensions match. And yes, you'll still be missing part of the screen in 16:9. Here's what ...

The 4:3 display is lower resolution than the 16:9 display, because the same FOV is spread across fewer pixels. So if you simply expand the FOV, you end up with a 16:9 image than is lower quality the game currently has. As I said, different games will use the additional resolution of a 16:9 display d...

the potential should be certified the only thing it got wrong was one odd res that almost no one uses any way

the lack of 1280x768 i think is more the fault of OpenGLs native display modes then any thing else even windows doesnt fully support that res

[quote][quote]The game is not designed or advertised to provide an enhanced display on triplehead configurations. It is designed and advertised to play in the standard configurations of 16:9, 16:10, and 4:3. The notion that development of a game should be driven by an oddball configuration that con...

the FOV is like that with 4:3 and 5:4 too
but none the less is still Vert-

but even in 4:3 feels like the camera is in the players back all the time
so thats not the fov per-say but just the camera being to close
the camera is tight but its tight regardless
the FOV isnt bad over all
