i havent played in a long time and my sub is up atm so dont think i even even log in to were i can get a screen shot atm but ill ask a freind of mine to take some

the only res i have messed with is 1680x1050

and the only 3 listed supported for me are 1600x900
1440x900 and 1680x1050

in game cut scenes are hor+ and the game will run any res you can get at in windows if your card/monitor supports it the game as options to adjust for 16:9 but you have to set it by hand once in the game the toon select screen is streched in 16:9 and 16:10 since aspect changes do not take effect til...

Seriously, 3 pages of complaints about how wrong widescreen is in Bioshock and no-one else's played it to the end? It's not broken, it's exactly correct, play to the end and you'll see why. The vertical FOV is a compromise by the developers to make levels 11-13 work. PM me if you want to spoil it f...

can some one post shots of the 1920x1200 set of res
im sure 1600x1200 works fine i can test that on my old CRT
so 2560x1600, 1920x1200, 1920x1080

http://img520.imageshack.us/img520/8503/etqw2007091218324762pt0.png ok seems to work fine ill have to add it as a windows res but it doesnt even show up when the game is set to window mode so its not a natively supported res for the game 1400x1050 works too via ini edit http://img530.imageshack.us/i...

you mised what i said i mis typed that one i was tabing in and out of the game at the time

and no its not in my listed windows res setting
ill mess with the ini edit and see what i can do

and yet you still wont comment on why other major games do it right?

what about Quake wars or HL2
id and Valve did it right and pretty much defined the FPS
dont you think they would know this too?

the thing is in a game i dont want to be looking out a window i want to be in the head of the guy/girl im playing and in that case you would see more the sides playing in 4:3 would be like having blinders on also have you seen how Quake wars does widescreen? http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node...

And in regards to the moderator that locked the topic due to the devs not believing widescreen had a large share of the market, they can be pointed to the Steam Hardware Survey that says that 16:10 is over 50% of the displays in use. link them to dell you cant even get a low end PC now with a 4:3 L...
