I can also confirm it works on 1680x1050, the only problem I have is that setting FSAA in ATI's CCC does not seem to have any effect in the game :/ |

Can you let me know what exact plugins and settings are you using? I am experiencing choppy sound and also major fps slowdowns on 8800GT (i have C2D @ 3ghz so its not the cpu). |

Hello, I am looking for help with setting custom resolutions in Metal Gear Solid (1). There are files mgs.cfg and mgsvideo.cfg but they are not 'text' files - the values probably have to be changed in hex editor, just like for MGS, but I have no idea what and where should be changed. I hope someone ... |

I dont know how about vista, but to get lower 16:10 resolutions in crysis on XP you need to add them manually them in the nvidia control panel:

when I try to run a custom res of 1440x900 How did you manage to enable 1440x900 resolution? I have 8600GT and am unable to switch to that resolution using nvidia control panel - even if i select "show resultions this monitor cannot support". My native res is 1680x1050 too and I am also using 163.4... |
