what advantages does the update, exc ept from changing primary monitor from left to middle?
just the screen change wouldn't be worth the risk. |

the demo worked fine with me. everything set to high and then changed the config files as descripted in the link. i can't give you a FPS number but it was playable; i din't notice any lag whatsoever, but i generally consider 20 - 30 as playable (at least for operation flashpoint/ArmA) so i guess FPS... |

you could have just asked in another thread i guess.
i have them, but i only used them once, but there was nothing bad i could say about it. i didn't see/feel any difference to my old & trusted CRT.
response time is 8 ms. |

I think, I'll wait for the X38 chipsets and go with a single GTX for starters and when the performance isn't good enough in a year, i'll add a (hopefully released by then) 9800. Does SLI work with two non-identical GPUs, I think yes?
this all asuming that the X38 will support SLI. |

Hello! I'd recommend NEC Multisync 1990FXp (bezel is 6.9mm = 0.27inch) i think thats the narrowest bezel you could get. contrast is 1:1500, delay is 8ms. angle of view acceptance is 178/178°. price is about 400 EUR each. if you wan't, I can post some pics (unluckily just the unpowered monitors) bec... |
