I'd also like to know the answer to this, in case anyone remembers running the game at the above mentioned screen ratio. Or if someone managed to archive the database section for Battleforge, as the solution might well be there. |

Okay, wait...if I understand the instructions correctly...the D3DWindower program will allow you to run Starcraft (and Diablo II) at custom resolutions...in a window. But is there a way to use this program/technique to run Starcraft with custom resolution, in fullscreen? Depending on what you mean ... |

Alright, thats cool
Hopefully the fix will work with the full version as well - in case Epic decides to ship the game with the FOV problem included. This wouldn't surprise me though  |

I meant single displays as in monitor setup for mere mortals :D
Can we get that file btw or is it just a hoax or an edited BioShock FOVhack? |

Well, a FOV of 140 is a bit useless and distorts everything to a really ugly level. It's nearly unplayable. Most players stick to 100-120.
Would be nice if we could get that FOV fix, squ1zzy  |

I'd like to ask Racer_S a question but I can't do that directly. Paddy, could you forward this idea if you find it appropriate? :D Is there a way to alter the BioShock FOV hack to make it work with the UT3 demo? I'm hoping that it's easy to do, because the engine is the same and the problem we are h... |

It's easy to rate them, both have their limitations. But we should be glad that a solution exists. What I can say personally is that I was overjoyed when I've found these two programs. And I had other probelms as well, couldn't install any of these games on Vista for some reason. Everything has been... |

I've tried this but can't get it working, does it only run on vista or will it work on xp? I've copied all the files into my diablo 2 folder, i've tried dd, d3d and gdi in all combinations and no joy at all. It runs diablo, but it's not in a window and is running at the usual 800 by 600. The progra... |

Hello everyone. I had the same problem, and after quite a bit of digging around and messing with my registry I've found a solution. This isn't a full widescreen support, you have to play the game in a window but you can stretch the image to whatever resolution you want it to (like 1024*768 for examp... |

Actually, there is a program you can use to play StarCraft in a window AND stretch the image to a custom resolution.
I have a very basic page set up for the files and instructions:
