Well, I went and tried it again. And it worked. My method (just in case anyone else wants specifics): - Download 180.48 and latest GMX - Uninstall GMX - Reboot - Install 180.48 - Reboot - Install GMX. A wizard will open, be sure to select the widescreen resolutions. Watch the wizard checkmarks scree...

Ok, I am now officially going nuts with this. Not only I can't get 4320x900 to work under newer nvidia drivers, now it's also disappeared even when I roll back to 175. I have Triplehead as monitor drivers (aready did), and I have re-flashed the ROM and reinstalled Powerdesk. Nothing. Haaalp......

I tried 180.84. While it does do 3840x1024, it's not the right aspect ratio for me. I need 4320x900. Tried creating a custom resolution (as explained in the other thread), still no luck. Back to 175 it is, unfortunately.

Hi,

How did you find the right numbers for the rest of the data on the custom resolution screen? is it resolution-related? I.e., if I were to try a different resolution (say, 4320x900, which is what my monitors can handle), would I need different data?

Cheers.

Yeah, I'm running vista, and 4320x900. So, no joy. Thanks for the link, I did a search but couldn't find it.

I subscribed to that thread, hopefully when a solution is found people will post it :)

Thanks for the reply.

I'm running 178.13. No problems. I am not using SLI, though, if that makes a difference.

It does. Sorry, I should have been more explicit: Any stable Nvidia drivers after 175, with SLI enabled?

Thanks for the welcome :)

Hi all, Long-time lurker, first-time poster. I'm running 2x8800GT's, with 175.19 vista drivers. I tried updating (to 178 at the time), but lost the ability to run the TH2G and it was a pain to rollback. Can any other Nvidia user confirm/deny that there are more recent stable drivers that work with t...
