Cropped: Don't ask me why ImageShack thinks that image is 1920*1024 :?: Full size: Both are slightly compressed by the Print Screen / Paint method. It's one TH2G unit on each output of one card. (edit: I misread your question - yes, both are digital :D ) (I had tried two 8800GT cards (one TH2G per c... |

It'd be handy if you posted you computer specs and video driver version.. Use DVI connection. Change aspect ratio scaling options in video driver options. Your monitor may be able to force 4:3. Apperently there are 3rd-party programs that can do it. Look at the how-to's around the forums.Argh! why ... |

You're most welcome. If what you have works for you then there's no sense spending extra on another unit (though if you sell yours it might not cost that much extra). Incidentally, Try out GridMove (Link) - I found it helps me a lot. TH2G grid here: (Link) Edit: For what it's worth: I don't use the ... |

I had an analog unit for a day (accidentally ordered the wrong one) and returned it. From my experience the digital version is so much clearer, doesn't require manually "auto-adjusting" the image if I change resolutions, and (as JKeefe mentioned) supports more resolutions. I have no doubt about whic... |

Thanks all - looked at SoftTH but unfortunately it doesn't work with Flight Sim X - had my hopes up there for a minute  That's a shame. Thanks for the heads up on that though. |

I have two TH2G units and one of them always gives me issues (isn't detected by the system) unless I power it down in some way (unplug it or switch up my PSU) for a couple of seconds, power it back up again, then boot. This may or may not be related to your problem but it's a thing to try. Does the ... |

I second the thought about NOT using widescreen monitors with the TH2G. I even tried it with a 4:3 20" just to see how it scaled but nothing really beats a monitor at it's native resolution. I wonder if you could use the TH2G on 2 widescreens and setup the third through SoftTH. (I don't use SoftTH s... |

That's some massive HUD stretch - though still totally worth it by the looks of things. I might even have to give that game a go someday. Thanks.
Is the larger cursor part of the HUD stretch? |

I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything but have you tried contacting EVGA for RMA details (or checked their site for RMA forms)?
Edit: Then again, this post was over a week old so I hope you've got the problem resolved. |

:welcome I strongly recommend three standard 19" screens (which are actually 5:4) for better maximum resolution. In vert- games (which should be avoided or run in a window) you would really appreciate the taller screens. Additionally, 3 of those together are plenty wide (15:4=3.75:1, 16:9=1.778:1) I... |

This would mean that SATA2 would be communicating @ 2.4gigabit/s... SATA @ 1.2gbps, ATA-133 @ 1.064gbps, ATA-100 @ 800mbps, etc...As you noted earlier those are just the theoretical max speeds of the interface. Even at that it hasn't been that long since consumer level drives could saturate even th... |

I know from the TH2G that ATI's 1000 serries had issues with ultra-wide resolutions (would not run a TH2G at full res). The 2000 series fixed that though. I'm guessing that the 3000 series is OK. As for max res off of one card: I know that 2 TH2G will even work on an AGP 6600GT in vertical span mode... |

The only reason I can see is Interface/HUD shrink - allowing a lot more open interface items (inventory, chat, friend list, ...) at once. The problems are (1) higher res = more GPU power needed, (2) scaling 3D in software in real time would likely be painfully slow & (3), you loose real resolution s... |

Mark: It's good to see a rep out in the community. I'd like to suggest that you contact the maker of GridMove (link) and see if he'll let you bundle that. bah, 1080P is overrated - I prefer my 3840*2048

Yes a single screen has some advantages but...
My point is it's not all about the overall size of the screen. 1080p doesn't offer the same resolution and (ultra-wide) immersion of a TH2G. |
