Thanks, I'll give this a try tomorrow.

At Matrox site, their GXM Compatibility test shows that ATI HD 4000 series should support the new resolution of 3 x 1440 x 900. Yeah, the compatibility tool shows 3x1440x900 as my max supported, but the Powerdesk software won't show that as a selectable resolution. I've tried everything I can think...

Didn't someone else mention some modes didn't show up when the monitors had the auto-detected / pnp drivers and were fine one you got those from the manufacturer? (LG or so I think it was mentionned that time) My monitor in windows just shows up as "Matrox Digital TripleHead2Go". I installed the dr...

This is great to hear for me. Maybe if I roll back to an older driver I'll be able to get the new modes on my ATI 4870. Thanks for the tip.

I'm using 3 Dell 17" E178WFPs and they have been great at 1280x800. I can't wait to get my issues worked out so I can try them at 1440x900.

For my sanity's sake, has anyone gotten this working with an HD 4870?

Thanks

I should also mention that I am running Vista Ultimate 32-bit in case that matters. I'm still running in 3x1280x800 for the time being :(

Hmm, maybe the 4870 isn't tagged as supported because of how new it is. I had an 8800gts but it died a week or two ago, so I got a 4870. My 19" LCDs are 1440x900 native, so that's all I really need. I do have the latest ATI drivers. I also backed up the old firmware. I'm not really sure what putting...

How did you get it working? I followed the instructions exactly and no new 16:10 resolutions are showing up :( Did you encounter any difficulties?

Followed the instructions on the website and the new resolutions aren't showing up like they should. I have an ATI HD 4870, so they should be supported. 1440x900 shows up in the dual head section, but not in the triple head section of the Powerdesk software. I have updated the firmware and software ...

3x1440x900 on my 19" widescreen LCDs will be great. Thank you Matrox for finally announcing something!

[quote]Taken from a review : "An unfortunate omission from the list of supported widescreen resolutions is 5040x1050 (triple 1680x1050). Although DX8 and DX9 GPUs are not capable of outputting an image greater than 4096 pixels wide, new DX10 GPUs such as the NVIDIA 8800 series have increased this li...

I've just set my DTG2G at 5040X1040 @ 60 Hz refresh rate and it all seems to be working fine. Not run any games yet.

Why is this working.... I set through my Nividia Graphics coontrol panel.

I just setup my DTH2G tonight, tried after reading this topic....:)

I use 3 16:10 widescreens. You just have to run them scaled down (1280x800). See how well your monitor displays 1280x800. If it's clean enough for you, you can run 3840x800.

The clutch pedal on your G25 is an analog pedal just like your gas and brake. At whatever % a game considers the clutch "in" or not depends entirely on that game and can vary from one game to another.

Any idea when we might see an updated firmware that will allow 4320x900 (1440x900x3)? I have Vista and DX10, and would be happy even if this resolution was only supported in Windows. I'm happy running my LCDs at 3840x800 (1280x800x3) for gaming, but would appreciate the increased clarity of running ...
