3DMark Vantage would be a better benchmarking tool than just getting the feel of WOW framerates.

If you have one 30" and 2 24" then they will all run at 1680 x 1050. Trust me it will not look good. I was a TH2Go user for about a year and then went back to just using one widescreen monitor because not all games support the TH2Go anyway. If I were you I'll stick with the 30" monitor for gaming. If you have 3 exact same monitors then it should not be that hard to calibrate them. Just use exactly the same settings for brightness, color settings, and image modes. With this, you don't have to spend more on a monitor calibrating tool. If they are still not the same, then I know one monitor cali...

I may have answers to some of your questions 3. Maybe not. You probably should make your own stand for that one. 4a. You have to try your 7900 gtx first. If it's not satisfactory, the ATI 4870 1G or the Nvidia gtx 285 are very good options. You can add another one later on for CrossfireX or SLI. 4b....

It's just a matter of answering this question: Are your games already that slow/unplayable with your current GPU? If so then it's good to upgrade. If not really, then you can wait.

FSX is different to all other games because you can use as much monitors as you want. You don't exit FSX or the triple- wide full screen to use the 4th monitor. Here is a video of me playing FSX using quad monitors. My 4th monitor is used for all the flight panels. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_g...

What we're saying is that you can still see the display on the 4th monitor while the triple monitors are on full screen. The mouse can't scroll over to the 4th monitor while gaming.

Right now, there's not that many options for 30" monitors other than Dell, Gateway, and Apple. The one from Apple is ridiculously priced though. Gateway is way cheaper but is still very2x good.

In your case, it might be better to just save up even longer so you can add 1680 x 1050 monitors in the future. Just buy them one at a time and get the th2go last.

Yes that's right. There's no need to add a second video card if you're worried the 4th monitor might affect performance. I've tested this before and really there's no difference at all.

Why are you talking about flight sim? Anyways, mostly all of these game controllers need to be mounted on the desk. There is no escaping that, unless you only want a joystick. I've bought the saitek pro flight yoke, the throttle quadrant and the flight rudder before. They are nice but again, I have ...
