[quote][quote]It's something stupid that's in engine. There's a certain max amount of objects that can be displayed on screen. this happens in Batman Arkham Asylum. I didn't know both games use the same engine. interesting. I wonder if there's a hex edit or way to increase that number I don't think...

so:

INI edit + Hayden Fix = Proper Eyefinity support

screw it, I'm not buying the game. it's not like the unreal engine is new or anything. previous UE games have sheety surround support. and we begged the dev to fix it but they never did. it's like a snub to us minority so they can focus on console. I like the good old days when UE is only for the PC...

thanks for the link. I got the game to work in eyefinity. being a fan of the original Painkiller + Battle of Hell addon though I logged less than 1 hour into PK Redemption. I'm a little bit disappointed. unless you are a seasoned PainKiller player. you will be overwhelmed. the moment you start off y...

I don't have the game but I would say probably. since the original PainKiller and the Battle out of Hell expansion works in eyefinity with a little tweaking.

though the next painkiller games after that really sucked :(

I hope this one is good.

Do those overhead lights flicker? Cause the lighting is different in the shots. I first noticed that when I posted the screenshots. no the light doesn't flicker but the lighting quality seems BETTER on the non eyefinity resolution too. the light on the eyefinity resolution seems . dimmer and not as...

I don't recall the exact site but the day I ordered the 6950. I read read a review/game benchmark of the 6970 and it seems to be about like 30% to 35% faster. (I don't recall the exact settings though resolution, aa, af) I'm saying 5870 vs 6970 since the 9650 I ordered is essentially a 6970 once unl...

The Second Encounter have much better Eyefinity support than the first one. as the HUD element doesn't disappear behind the bezel compensation

I ordered the 6950 a few days ago. from newegg though I"m kinda pissed that on my current 5870 the DisplayPort is now a MIniDisplayPort on the 6950. now I have to pay an additional $30 to get a MDP-> DVI adapter. and my current $30 DP-> DVI adapter will be no use. EDIT: damn. the 6950 is comming tod...

anyone played this game.. it seems it will support high resolution (in my case 6028x1200 eyefinity) but it seems to render it at lower resolution and then scaled to the high resolution. so the end image is kinda blocky for the game to be running in such high resolution anyone heard of this problem o...

wait a minute... if you have TWO 5770.

you can't put two monitor one card and the 3rd monitor on the second 5770 card?!

you have to put ALL 3 on a single card and thus requireing a DP-> DVI connector?!!!

if this is true. I shake my head at the fluck up that is ATI
