| I'm currently using a single HD4870X2 in Crossfire mode. I'm using the latest ATI drivers that released 4-5 days ago, and all the latest Matrox software. It's strange, as whenever I upgrade the display driver, it reverts me to a different resolution, not 5040x1050. But usually after a reboot or two ... |

| Unfortunately, I have not been able to get 5040x1050 working with 190.15 on Windows 7 Build 7100 x64 using a pair of GTX260 Core216s. This was on my previous OS installation that had my HD4870X2 in it at one point, so just to make sure it wasn't junk in the computer, I did a fresh windows installati... |

WOW! That's amazing news!
My poor HD4870X2 has been collecting dust, and I've been fighting with the finicky Nvidia Custom Resolution settings. I would love to go back to my ATI card! |

Hmm, thanks for the tip!
It seems like it will take some tweaking still, as it's fine in OS however it still seems to be having some issues when I switch to games...
I'll fool around with it tomorrow when I'm...sober. :o |

So, using Windows 7 Beta Build 7000 X64, the 9.2 Catalyst Drivers, and an unregistered copy of Powerstrip, I've managed to successfully get 5040x1050 resolution desktop within windows. Oh yeah, on an ATI HD4870X2 Disabled Aero, although...quite honestly, could give a flip about ... |
