Triple Dell 2209WA, flawless E-IPS panel, 247 bucks each. They are now sitting on my desktop, taking up a lot of space. I consulted local Matrox TH2G distributor, and they offered 395 bucks for the digital edition with 1 year warranty. How's the situatioin in the U.S? I'm considering having some fri...

Dell has the new 22" 2209WA e-IPS display that's getting rave reviews. Many say it's now the best 22" display available. It uses "detuned" IPS technology and is priced in the TN range.

Hi Frag, is 2209WA compatible with DTH2G? I can't find it in the monitor list. Thanks.

Yes but movie playing, even HD movies, is nothing for a modern rig. I was referring to using it for gaming, if you plan to. Well my point was I wasted some money on a 450W PSU for my old rig. Back then, playing HD movies wasn't such an easy task for computers like mine. I tried playing Eagle Eye at...

IMHO these new parts that run hotter need more space and bigger fans, esp with all that filtration slowing down the airflow a bit. I've been looking at the Antec P182, but I'm a bit worried about the space inside. I'm looking to wait for the die shrinkage in current Nvidia/Intel GPUs and CPUs thoug...

As long as you're not planning to fix them to metal arms, you can fiddle around whenever you want until you find the most comfortable angles. It won't hurt anything.

That's not a bad looking case there. Quite unique, interesting and thorough dust filters. It might be a bit louder than some cases, but it does look to have good cooling potential and a nice style to it. Does it have a 120mm front and rear fan, and is there one at the top too? Also, whom manufactur...

You could get by with just the i7 920 if you OC it properly, but definitely get an aftermarket cooler, as those CPUs run hot. I would recommend something like the Titan Fenrir TTC-NK85TZ. You could easily OC to 3 to 3.4 Ghz with that cooler. Many coolers including this one are based on the exposed ...

The performance of having a resolution of 3840 x 1024 (3 x 19" monitors) is the same as 2560 x 1600 (1 x 30" monitor). Now having 3 x 22" monitors will definitely be more taxing. Adding a 4th monitor doesn't really give you any performance hit because it's connected to the 2nd dvi. I've tested play...

1 side note: Stock hsf is good enough if you wont overclock. But since you said you will do some mild overclocking, I suggest you to get a mid range 3rd party hsf (eg Cooler Master N520/620). For serious overclocking, Thermalrigt 120 Extreme or CM V8 is a must. Thanks dude. Yes, I'm not planning to...

Matrox Powerdesk already has this feature to allow fullscreen on each of the 3 monitors.

Hi Yui, with 4 monitors attached to your 4850 graphics card, how does your setup behave? Are you happy with its performance? I'm asking this because I may go with quad monitors as well. Thanks!

Hi guys, I've dug through old threads for a while but haven't had the luck to run into a similar discussion, so I decided to start this thread. I see most discussions are focused on surround gaming, and that certainly is the exact reason I'm considering DTH2G, but the problem is I'm not gonna used i...

i would get a corsair/ seasonic PSU or a PC Power and Cooling (if you dont value your ears too much)/ OCZ unit. other than that it looks good :) I had personal bad experience with a TT PSU. 850w Corsair would be nice :P if you want to add more graphics cards later definately think about it Thanks d...

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum. My current setup is 3 years old and I'm in need of some new hardware. The idea is building a new system based on Intel i7, with GTX295 graphics card. I thought about going triple head, coz it's simply so awesome with flight sims. But after checking price tags, I think...
