On topic I have to say I am dissapointed in SpecOps. Something about removing the story context from the action makes the game less enjoyable and the flaws more easily seen. I think MW as a series just presents action extremely well, and when that presentation is removed I like it a lot less. I hav...

I played it. Even finished it. It's utter crap (imo). Bad portjob. But you will probably like it if you are into star wars and such. But i was hoping on a more Jedi Knight 2 Jedi Outcast experience. I was dissapointed.

I don't mind the restrictions on number of players. But sometimes it takes 5 minutes to get into a server. Sometimes when im in a lobby it just closes down without a good explanation (unable to connect to host / failed host migration / gamelobby closes / etc ). This whole experience could have been ...

Well i would have liked dedicated server support, but i bought the game anyway. So far i'm liking it alot. Some good changes to the MP gameplay. There is sometimes a host migration which is anoying, but it only takes 10 secs, and it's not often. Overall, the matchmaking works quite well. So you poo ...

If anyone had not noticed this yet: If you're running Borderlands on a Windows 7 platform, chances are you aren't actually running the game in DirectX 10. Why? Who knows. However, ShackNews has a very easy fix that will switch to the DirectX 10 render path and a few tweaks that will give you more vi...

I suppose one could twist the interpretation of that statement to mean "we know exactly what they want and thus know exactly how to screw them", but I don't think he is making that claim. So...genuinely disillusioned or insidiously arrogant? Isn't it possible that there is a bigger mainstream audian...

Too bad they weren't more forthcoming with their ideas. Otherwise all of this would have been avoided. Too late for them now. As much as we wish for the game to bomb in both platforms, I can only hope that our decision to boycott the game will be felt when their sales expectations fall much shorter...

Hi there, I've recently installed this old game again. It won't run though. I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact that i use Windows 7 now. Has anyone else got it to work on w7/vista? I've updated to the latest version, but still it won't run. When i start, the proces runs in background,...

I have a Asus GTX 275. Can't compare to other (i've heard it's quite loud compared to others), but im happy with it. It's not that loud btw. Idle you can't even here it. Ingame, well, i wouldn't know. Sound of gunfire or afterburners is to loud to hear. But really, i haven't noticed anything strangl...

Get the GotY edition with Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine. The other DLC is not included, however, which I thought was extremely cheeky. Fortunately, I already had all the other DLC on another DVD. Shivering Isles made Oblivion for me. 'Twas awesome. Way better than the original game IMO. D...

I've split your post off here as that other thread was only resurrected by spam ! As of the patch, the game is now properly Hor+ so there's no need to worry about it. The discussion was more that they had guaranteed proper widescreen support and then had produced it vert-. The excuse of 'artistic d...
