At 1920x1200 you still get a performance penalty even though the screen is at 1080. If you go to 1080 the frame rates are better.

Hello, I wanted to know if someone would be kind enough to provide a fix for the letterbox issue (or whatever it's called) when using resolutions like 1920x1200, etc. What happens is that when using none 16:9 resolutions there are black boarders at the top and bottom. Well, all you've really done is prove my OP here. Sadly, the passion is gone. I'm not here to argue as it is what it is. It is my opinion that you are mistaken, when compared to 16:9 that is not 16:10. With 16:10 you should see more from the top and bottom of the screen. It shouldn't be the same as 16:9. I've been looking around here and it's my opinion that some of the passion to see that PC gamers get the proper aspect ratio in games have dimension. Yes, this website have made developers aware that 4:3 isn't acceptable for 16:10 users. But what about 16:9 being supplemented for 16:10? Why is this ... |
