It does, as far as I know, nobody's adjusted the dlls for the steam version. Eureka! I busted out the 4 old installation CD's and it's working now :) My frame rate is horrid now though. Is there a way to set it to just High quality instead of Ultra to see if that will help? NM: Figured it out. Now ... |

You also need to apply the AR fix, this page has more details: http://widescreengamingforum.com/dr/quake-4 I've tried it all and my image is still stretched :( Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Tried deleting the gamex86.dll and using the one from your .zip download but my screen is always stretched l... |

(Jade Engine... same as Beyond Good & Evil. A hypothetical Hor+ fix would require some serious memory hacking. For a game released six years ago, it's not very likely to happen.)

Finally got this working in Windows 7 and it will actually run at 5760 x 1080 :) The only problem is it's stretched. Anyone else love this game enough like me to figure out how to run it properly on multi-monitor?

It seems like things blur up a bit when I go from 1920 x 1080 to 5760 x 1080. It gives me a warning when selecting this resolution about the image being stretched. I noticed this same fuzziness in Serious Sam HD @ 5760 x 1080 :( |

I've tried messing with the config file but still can't get a res higher than 1920 x 1080. It first showed up as 'Copy of options.cfg' and I changed it to options.cfg but still no luck :( |

Is there any way to fix the mouse problem? Sensitivity decreases when you're moving/strafing :| I want the mouse to move the same speed no matter what my character is doing. |

There really needs to be a "classic" mode for multiplayer. I want that old school speed back!
Any way to slow down the mouse sensitivity? 1 is not low enough :( |
