I was having all kinds of issues with this game. My usual resolution is 5780 x 1200, Surround with 980 Ti in SLi. If I tried to load the game simply to start it, it would crash during the Bethesda screen. I could load and play using one screen, 1920 x 1200. I still can't adjust the resolution from t...

Grrrrr.....

The darned patches/updates FUBAR the settings.

Since last evening, I guess there was some kind of update.

I simply revisited the .exe file and placed it into HxD and re-edited my settings.....all good.

I have used the tutorial Hex editing for NVidia surround and I have had zero problems in the game. I have GTX 980 Ti in Sli. First I took my resolution and created the Hex code......I use 5760 x 1200 so 5760/1200 = 4.8 So, the correct code to enter into HxD is: 9A 99 99 40 (this IS the correct order...

The site is down and the application will not function.

Maybe COD killed it.....

I just want to use it for Alien:Isolation, but no go this AM.

Thanks Hayden.
The fix works perfectly for me.
Using NVidia 2D Surround on three 24" monitors in landscape....5670 x 1200, no adjustments needed.
Sent some cash your way.

Recent rumors on Kotaku have it that Ubi will put out a patch soon to allow manipulation of the various HUD elements.

Hopefully we can get rid of those stupid tutiorial pop-ups and the constant reminder pop-ups about missions.

This should have been a day one inclusion.

Running AMD 7970 Trifire here @ 5760x1080 with bezel corrected size of 6000. I found if you use your native desktop resolution in game settings the mini map is the correct size just in top center of the left screen. Sucks not having bezel compensation but I can't play with that large mini map on th...

I have two computers, an AMD 7970 Crossfired and an nvidia GTX670 SLI (my son's). My 7970s have the same problems as everyone else......the minimap is giant and is displaced in the left upper corner on the middle screen of EyeFinity. I am running the latest Beta 12.11 and the latest Caps. I'm runnin...

You have two options here. For nvidia Surround you need two identical cards, ie two GTX 580s. You the use the DVIs from each GPU to enable the monitors. Two on the master, one on the slave. If you buy a single 7970 you use three ports, generally the single DVI and two miniDisplayPort. Don't fret, th...

Thanks guys, the fixer works perfectly.

Just have to remember to select "native" under Image Quality.

Is there a FOV fix for this game?

I have a couple problems. First I also am missing indicators. I started the campaign and in the subway car, I could not figure out how to dislodge the gun in the door, as there was no "hold F to remove gun". I was stuck there. Secondly, if I go to options to adjust settings or keybindings, I get a p...

Wow, I can actually play the game now. I hope the developers read this.....this could be a Steam patch in about two seconds. Cudos. :) I use 5670 x 1200 and this works well. I do have my weapon indicator partially hidden behind a bezel, but that might just be my settings. I,m going to tweak the reso...

I'd like to see an adjustable FOV and the 2d menus fixed for triple scren game play. There has to be some editor function somewhere in this game to allow this. I realize Eyefinity and Surround are only a small percentage of gamers, but come on.....how can the developers not even attempt to get this ...

Anybody have any ideas how to fix these?

The game recognizes the proper resolution, but menu and other screens are not useable.

This is essentially the same problem as Borderlands had.

The FOV is horrid.

My only short term solution is to play on a single monitor----1920 x 1200.

[quote]just tried it 200 is the best

It's crazy that we even have to set it that high. I didn't even notice a difference until I set it around 150. I agree though, 200 is definitely 'just right'.

Do you have it set at 200 on EyeFinity/Surround ?

Will this work for Steam or alternate edition? If you are refering to the new patch, you load up the game from your Steam account and the game is automatically updated to the most recent version, which includes the patch. All retail versions, mine included, are activated through Steam, and the game...

I am very satisfied with the FOV at 5670 x 1200. Looks like the devs adjusted it nicely to compensate. The game looks great. I get about 60 FPS-75 FPS in the short time I tried it last night. My GPU useage in Triple Crossfire is only about 30-40% across all three GPUs though, same as it was at 1920 ...
