Load a few games and it exhibits the same exact ...

The original idea with the CF cards wont work? or the idea of adding a low end card to the system just to run b/s apps in the background?

I did some poking around and it looks like this wont work? Can anyone confirm this?(2 5800 cards in cross fire with 3 monitors in a group and the 4th on the second card in as a side monitor)

Has anyone added another card to the mix on the system for the extra monitor? Any complications from this?

Sorry if this has been asked already.

Can you use the ports on the second card if its in CF? I would like to setup a 3+1 setup with my 4th monitor over top of the 3 for other apps. I had planned on getting the 5870 Eyefinity edition but if i can do this and do CF i might go this way instead.

Unfortunately im using credit with dell to purchase to defray the cost a bit. How much were you selling them per monitor? If you dont mind me asking what monitor are you going with?
How is the size of the bezel? I'm seriously worried about that part of this being distracting.

Are there any caveats to hooking up 3 U2410 to 1 5870? It looks like ill have to buy the dp cables. Any direction on what i will need would be appreciated. Would the 3 monitor stand be worth it? or will just the base stands be sufficient? I believe ill be getting the U2410 contrary to my previous st...

Thank you for the reply Paradigm i appreciate it.

I was looking at doing this as well, but wanted to see if there was a better way or possibly more bang for my buck way of doing this. Yeah the U2410 is really nice but at a ridiculous price!
