Works in surround? Sounds great! Although yesterday I have had trouble using Crossfire in the game. (HD6970 that is) I could play it ~20mins just fine, suddenly in the map view the screen doubled and overlapped. It might have been because Afterburner messed up Clock speeds on the GPU after drivers i...

Running the game on 2xHD6970. Runs really good - although I'm limiting the framerate to 30fps to get stable frametimes and consistent image. Got most of the stuff on high except for PostFX on Medium, Shadows Medium just to make sure it runs great.. (I can't tell the quality difference but it would r...

I literally only just swapped back to NVIDIA because I had had enough of AMDs drivers causing me issues, can't complain about their hardware, they just need to sort there drivers out. well, good for you but this is not everyones solution. I also have some weird problems since after 12.4 drivers. Vi...

2 months later. Nothing happened.
Am I surprised? I'll never waste my money on a codemasters game again for sure. (meaning that I'll have to read tests/forums very carefully)

And there's still no multi monitor grading in the detailed report.

If I had known about this issue, I wouldn't have bought the game at all.

Never gonna buy a Codemasters game again without really making sure it works.

The time it takes them to fix the crappy game until I can play it, the price of it will drop >50%..

Are you guys trolling or have I missed something? DiRT Showdown doesn't even support EyeFinity - so what is this all about? That's one of the biggest jokes I've seen on this site so far. It's pretty ridiculous and unprofessional to be honest. The game has not even been rated for multi monitor soluti...

Ah, you are right, windowed mode does show proper FOV. Eyefinity But playing in windowed mode is not acceptable, I will not play it that way for sure. Actually I didn't even try how much better it might be because I don't have the wheel right now, but I will try for sure. On the screenshots you can ...

EDIT. I'm totally blind. I was editing DiRT3 files instead of Showdown. I will keep trying. lol I think it should be fixed by just changing some easy values in camera.xml files but I'm not sure yet. I was changing all Parameter fov scalar value 60.0000 to 120.0000 now the game crashes when I start a...

Isn't this game basing on the Unreal Engine3? To my knowledge, there isn't any game capable of doing proper eyefinity. o_O But I could be missing out some game at the moment. Anyway...most UE3 games don't. Game isn't even out in germany yet. :/ But I can wait without a problem. ------ also.... *wait...

Gotta love the support of the widescreenfixer MW3 patches on Steam.... it takes only a couple of hours and WSFixer patches too. :3 Yesterday I suddenly had to play without the HUD and sometimes some white weapon or something appeared in the menus, all fonts dissapeared etc. lol it was weird. But now...

So I had it working on 5040x1050, but it was running weirdly (only 50% GPU usage, but wouldn't pass 30FPS) and as soon as I changed any settings it reverted to a single screen resolution. It's normal that some console games aren't using full GPU capacity. As long as it's running smooth as silk, and...

actually...honestly...seriously.... I have launched the game and that was all. :? Intro video started in 5292x1050 (stretched), menu in 5292x1050. All I had to do is to hope the game would look correctly and it does. (just like RF:G) The HUD is absolutely no problem to me. I would be nice to have it...

Well all we can see is that it CAN run in eyefinity almost flawless except for the HUD. But jesus. The FOV NEEDS to be fixed. It's HORRIBLE. I can't imagine how anyone could play this on one single monitor. The HUD in RF:A @eyefinity isn't that bad if you had seen the one in RF:G. It simply made the...

Well it's weird but...guys, the game started in eyefinity resolution. And plays it as well. What's different with my system? :S http://www.abload.de/img/redfactionarmageddon_ddngz.jpg Only thing is, the options shows a res of 640x480. the way alot of stuff is done in engine is... STRANGE. I haven't seen the code but I share your thoughts. I can't run the game fullscreen, neither crossfire. I only tested if for a few minutes @ 1680 and made a few steps. When I pressed ESC during a cutscene or dialogue and tabbed to windows, the m...

Well, I see your point then. It looks like in your case you really HAVE to move onto Nvidia if you want to upgrade. No sarcasm intended. I have no idea what's up with AMD and the lack of support for all these things. It feels like there are only a hand full of programmers for the drivers, if at all....

In my case Fear.exe added a lot of random unfrequent stuttering and worse controls. Bioshock.exe had the same performance without the stuttering. But it may depend on the used hardware. Maybe now without the AA the Fear.exe might be the better choice, I have no tested it yet, but it's great already....
