Hi, Undoubtedly you've all heard of the hybrid solution with nVidia's PhysX in an ATI eyefinity environment. Now i've had that working on a 6 screen hd5870 EF6 card paired with a 8800 GTX, the next challenge is to trick the drivers to think i hooked a 3D screen (or 3, or 6) to an Nvidia card, while ... |

Hi guys, I would like to report that, apart from wacky ATI issues with the Eyefinity setup, i have had no problems whatsoever with my DP-VGA converters, there was one instance of a black screen but that was me being a dumbass and accidentally pulling one of the DP connectors out ;) It seems like the... |

Duh.. Even one month older than mine.. (5970). Will try cable! Just one question, what would be a good cable? Konig? Double shielded? Hm, if its for one connection, the best money can buy.. i don't know brands, all i know is Eizo gives some great quality ones with monitors. If you call Eizoshop, ma... |

To all of the replies on the last page: Thanks for the info, I don't need those 2gb that much since i only have 6x 1280x1024 screens. Crossfiring a normal 5870 with an EF one actually cuts the ram in half :) If i go up in res, i might think about more, but there currently is no game that uses more, ... |

[quote][quote] Then, I made a trip to Fry's and picked up the Monster-brand, DP -> VGA adapter that cost $49.99. It's a bit costly compared to what others have posted here. But, it was the only place and the ONLY DP -> VGA adapter I could get my hands on locally. It's now been close to 34 hours of ... |

I don't think thats the picture you wanted to use. If I remove the 9. I get a picture not related to this. DP -> VGA adapters are active, not passive and they should work. Use one of the confirmed ones in this thread to make sure that the ones you are ordering works. :) :welcome Fixed it! (don't kn... |

Hi guys, I don't know if this is the correct thread, but ive been browsing around here and i havent found much info on the 6 DP eyefinity cards.. I'm looking to successfully make a 6 screen build and didn't realize before that you could only connect 2x dvi and have to convert the rest actively. I ha... |
