"It seems the shuttering followed the card" Can you elaborate - what do you mean by that? Does the flickering happen only in gaming mode? Does it happen in all your games? And does it happen if you use dual-card SLI instead of tri-card SLI (you can test this w/o removing the card by dedicated 1 of t...

I run GTX 470 SLI (albeit heavily OC'd on water) with three 19x12 monitors and I can say that it's a very good experience. There are a couple games where going super widescreen forces a real reduction in IQ - Crysis/Warhead and Metro - but outside of that, I can pretty much max out most things in mo...

A brief addition: if you have a mouse that is capable of DPI switching, you can probably go into your mouse software settings and simply set your Y axis DPI to be much higher or lower than your X axis DPI. I know that at least with Logitech gaming mice, you have this option of axis-independent DPI c...

While it'd be nice to have, the reality is that UT3 is all but dead and was dead nearly on arrival since it was such a disappointment compared with UT2K4. Too bad, really, because after some patches and the Titan pack, etc., it's actually pretty fun.

SP fix was great - thanks so much for fixing the annoying text stretching. Playing the campaign across three monitors is just something to behold.

Don't suppose there's a way to prevent the fonts from stretching? Don't care about it in MP, but it ruins the immersion in SP.

Got this working on my Eyefinity setup to the point where it is playable and enjoyable. The text on the Pipboy and the computer terminals is blurry, much more so on the computer terminals but not enough to the point where I can't hack them, it is just extra challenging hehe. The only thing that is ...

These morons can barely get their game working for regular PC users, not to mention the console issues - and this is all on an ancient engine that they've done absolutely nothing to upgrade. How pathetic. FO3 looks amazing in Surround, but I think I'll wait before I buy this one. I just don't want t...

These conclusions don't make much sense to me. If I run Shift in "hood view" I get consistent 60+ FPS on two GTX 470s using 4xAA at 6040x1200, except for the first 2-3 seconds of most tracks, where for some reason, at the start line, FPS tanks to 14-18 before jolting into gear. But in your results, ...

Wings of Prey went completely pear-shaped on me. It used to work fine, then one day, it stopped working in Surround. It spends about two minutes struggling to start up, dropping in and out of 3D clocks to 3D low power clocks, trying to reload itself, appearing and disappearing on the left monitor - ...

Yes, that is the whole point of bezel correction. You choose that option under "Configure" in "Surround" from the Control Panel.

This game works in Nvidia Surround, but the crosshairs are quite fat and thus distracting. There seems to be a little vertical cropping too. Frame rates also plummet after the game saves or at other random, frequent intervals, though this is 'solved' by hitting ESC and reentering the game. Not reall...

Not working here on Nvidia Surround on 3.33 Mobster file. Game takes up the center and right monitor but doesn't appear on the left monitor. Right part is also cut off, so it seems to think the left monitor should be where it isn't, on the right, maybe. e: Alright, I was able to tab out into windowe...

Hope this guy didn't end up pulling all of his hair out. Nvidia has done a really terrible job (read: none) publicizing the massive SLI/Realtek issue, but basically Windows Update installs some drivers on any motherboard with the gigabyte Realtec NIC that mess with SLI. You need to roll back these R...

Not sure why you needed to plug in any hardware to use Matrox desktop management. I downloaded and installed the utility and it works perfectly fine with no Matrox hardware attached. L4D has some known issues, I thought, with latest drivers. Maybe something particular to high textures. And obviously...

Sounds like neither. Were you running this setup without issue on a single monitor prior to installing W 7? What happens if you use 197 drivers?

Seems like your system itself is unstable.

The only game that has given me trouble performance-wise in Surround is Metro (granted, I've not tried Crysis yet). I have to scale down from "very high" to "high" and reduce resolution from 6040x1200 to 5000x1000 or something like that. Regardless of that, I'm not really impressed by the visuals. I...

Bioshock 2 is the last game I would test for this. It is an ugly console port and repeats the same mistakes pre-patch Bioshock 1 did with regard to FOV and aspect ratio. Also, bezel correction is currently bugged. It works when you first set up Surround (or, of course, when you exit Surround and re-...
