Rift UI is example of how it ought to be done. DAO2 is example of Bioware going downhill. It's not even proper to call it a sequel. And as noted, Eyefinity is worthless, just as it was in DAO, with HUD elements on the far screens. |

Fuck Kalms and fuck DICE, frankly. 3+ months to fix something that was working before they broke it? Not acceptable. |

Anyone have this game working with CF? CF scaling is poor and then disappears to 0% scaling within a few minutes every time. This has also taught me that when AMD cards are concerned, at least, the GPU usage meters don't mean shit. Both of them are in the 80% range but the FPS is equivalent to singl... |

Cannot be done. In CF mode, you are limited to using the ports of the top card, with a limit of four. You can attach more monitors to the bottom card, but that automatically disables CF. Not sure how easy it is to switch in and out of CF like that, but you obviously won't be able to do Eyefinity and... |

Performance seems awful. 25-35 FPS in the first mission (kill 6 ghouls) at 5760x1080 using ultra or even high with regular AA. Must be a serious problem with Eyefinity or Crossfire or both. Both GPUs show max usage, though that doesn't necessarily mean it's being used wisely. For comparison, I get 6... |

Me 4. Unfortunately my clan has moved back to BC2 for competitions and they won't let me play until I can promise that I won't crash out mid-game. I cannot make that promise. I am going to install Windows 7 SP1 as I've heard that has some multi-monitor fixes. Will report back. Was also thinking tha... |

TN monitors are terrible in terms of vertical angles, so portrait mode sucks. Even the LED VE278Q that I love loses 25% of its brightness if I move my head 1-2" above or underneath the bezel just for the hell of it. |

"Confirmed: mismatched Eyefinity looks better for FPS" I will remind the OP to understand the difference between qualitative and quantitative statements. You "confirm" quantitative statements through facts, while qualitative statements are merely an expression of personal opinion. Not understanding... |

[quote]Well that level of mismatch is pretty extreme. Not exactly a valid comparison. And I'm having zero screen lag using real monitors. Color mismatch is minimal as well, as I can adjust settings on every monitor. Well you may have a point so how's this. 1707fp's and 3007wfp-hc's the miss match i... |

The best answer is to sidestep AMD's predictably shit software (not that Nvidia even attempted to provide profiles like this, but I digress) and go straight to Matrox: Download this program and hold onto it since God knows why Matrox even has it available for free (second link): http://www.matrox.co... |

A couple months back, I got rid of a 25.5" x 3 Surround setup. Was not a fan of the fisheye effect and didn't see why the side monitors should be the same size as the center - and effectively larger, given the way you angle them - when the center is supposed to be the focus. Also didn't like being s... |

This used to be available for free on their website but that was a few months ago, and now it looks like you can't obtain it since it does a hardware check for a Matrox product. It's not only essential for using Nvidia Surround but it's much better than AMD's Hydragrid for carving out a usable deskt... |

What you need is Matrox's desktop tool. I forget the name but it's a free download and you can use a hydra-grid like utility to carve out virtual monitors within your "single" surround monitors and thus control window maximizing. |

Well I get the 27" last night after some weather delays, so I only had a couple hours to try it out, but so far I'm very pleased with this way of doing things. Running 22"+27"+22", my perception of fisheye effect is much reduced and it is far easier to focus on the center monitor, compared with my p... |

Do the monitors with Surround have to be any more identical than the monitors with Eyefinity? Thought that it was AMD that was less flexible about this when you want bezel correction. |

Looks like the clowns at DICE have still left this issue unresolved. This game worked fine in Surround months ago, but I tried it last night in Eyefinity and discovered frequent CTDs and, subsequently, threads like this one. |

The latest drivers seem to call them "presets" but you can no longer independently control anything, which sucks. You need to apply all settings or none, it seems. Also, it doesn't work right, at least with two portrait side monitors. I have one profile to disable them and another to enable them. Th... |
