I seriously doubt it. What you are talking about is drastically changing the aspect ratio, so it would be like having a 1920x1080 monitor display ~1920x320. That's not a resolution that exists in the monitor's firmware so unless you can maybe rewrite the firmware, it's not happening. Not to mention ...

Would be more excited if Tri-Fire actually worked in anything on these cards. (See here: http://hardforum.com/showpost.php?p=1036757308&postcount=291) Don't understand the point of these dual GPUs cards when everyone already has multiple PCI-E slots on their board unless they intend on making at lea...

The new Nvidia cards make no sense for Surround. Meager vRAM for high-end cards but still more expensive. I've done GTX 470 SLI and now I've got 6950 CF. No complaints about scaling or gaming experience. With the Radeon 5 cards, AMD's CF kind of sucked, especially with EF, but that's all fixed with ...

While it sucks that there's no support for this game, it would be messed up to play across three monitors during the dialogue sequences, which are half of the game and the heart of the game. Characters on the side screens would, as they always do with this tech, appear distorted and ridiculous. Does...

As an aside, there is no reason to disable Restore. That was always advised just to save HD space, not to protect the SSD.

(Bigger center but same resolution.) I've seen one or two users on these boards mention they've tried, but pictures and observations on experience would be really helpful. I ran 3x25.5" Surround and I always thought it made no sense that the screen sizes were the same. Given the angled orientation, ...

Nice setup in that picture. I've got to take a picture at some point of my gear, although, still haven't built a custom stand yet - had to ship one of the monitors back to newegg for an RMA and just got the replacement. Regarding these Acers, the one I returned, had horrible backlight bleed on the ...

I'm going to put this out there. If you're running games in windowed mode, you can always create a shortcut that using ultramon that will maximize the game over you're desktop and even move it so you don't see the bar on the top of the window (This is what I do for Surround gaming on Halo 2). If yo...

This sort of thing honestly cannot be as hard as AMD/Nvidia make it out to be. Case in point: I started playing Eve Online again after a year, and in the latest patch, multi-monitor stretching support was created. So now I can drag windowed Eve client across all three of my screens, even though they...

I thought the game was terribly paced because of one glaring flaw: too much driving. And I do mean way, way too much. Considering that there's nothing to actually do in the city other than follow the main storyline, this is just a bizarre decision. You literally drive around to play chaperone for NP...

Tron is an odd duck. It seems to get a little love, but no one I know actually talks about it or cares about it. Was there anything to the original other than some novel aesthetics? A good Tron game came out years ago, but it was nothing spectacular - no one ever reminisces about that, either.

I'd love to be a fly at the wall at Bethesda/Zenimax. Why the hell won't they fire their awful engine and animation team and use RAGE engine from id Software, which seems like it would be perfect for this type of game and setting? No one outside the aforementioned companies seems to know.

I've only played the 360 demo, but I was pleasantly surprised at the visual fidelity and the solid controls. Not inclined to pay $50 as I'm no hardcore flight sim/arcade guy, but I like some good airborne action now and then.

How can the game be certified if you can't even get full use of your screen with 16:10 aspect ratio? I run at 25x16 and it is horizontally boxed top and bottom. I don't recall this happening on my 19x12 screen, though.

Just a quick note for the uninitiated - Facebook replaced its "become a fan" button with "like", so you'll want to click that.

I own a KTA 325 stand I bought from Ergotech, and it's great. It supports my 3x25.5" config and it will also fit with my planned 30" x (2) 20" all in Landscape mode.

Isn't one remaining key feature the ability to do PLP? Or can that not be done on any of the three technologies? I'd really like to do 20+30+20 but it seems like that's never going to happen, especially since no one makes IPS 20" anymore and way too few people buy IPS at all for Nvidia or ATI to car...

Why would you need to waste time switching in and out of Surround? Just use Matrox Desktop utility to delineate your physical monitors within spanned mode so that your maximized windows snap within the right monitors. I only switch out of Surround to play BRs (since Arcsoft + Surround = BSOD) or if ...

So let us just establish things clearly. You changed the plugs on the monitors on the video card end? And in doing so you identified that the culprit is the video card and not the monitor? There are three variables here and your explanation is sort of vague: there are monitors, there are cords, and ...
