[quote]NOTE: The 1.2 update is FORCED, even if you have update disabled in Steam. I disabled my network interface, copied the entire 1.1 game. Went into steam and disabled updates. After activating network and running steam, patch is automatic despite checkbox saying updates are turned off. I wonde...

Guys what you need to do is just revert, if you're on W7: Right-click Skyrim in Steam UI, go to settings/whatever and uncheck auto update. Then right-click Skyrim folder in Steam directory, properties, previous versions tab, then copy over last night's version of the game to wherever. Delete the exi...

Does that revert to 1.1 guide do anything at all for those of us who already started up Steam?

Since Steam doesn't actually listen when you tell it not to autoupdate...

God damn Bethesda.

Use the 0.3 fix, guys. Looks like 0.4 (a, at least) is the one that has been broken by the Steam update in terms of the mouse going bonkers.

Using the original (I think?) FONV 4GB fix lets me use 3DVision just fine, so I'm not sure why Helifax is not able to run 3D with the fix. Helifax what kind of frames were you getting in 3D + Surround? I am starting to suspect something is seriously messed up with my Tri-SLI because at 99% GPU usage...

Anyone figure out how to make this work across two monitors?

Why would you want to play anything across two monitors? Doesn't make sense.

It seems the new patch for the 4GB memory allocations breaks 3D Vision..since the game is loaded using a different exe name and no 3D Vision profile is being loaded.... Still looking for a workaround for this What is it being loaded as, FONV.exe? There seems to be a way to set Stereo settings from ...

It's time to storm Bethesda forums. These people are making our lives harder for what, exactly? It's already on Steam. This does nothing to protect the game. It's not like someone can copy and paste the regular exec to some random directory and play the game. And the game is already cracked I bet, s...

These idiots have introduced a patch that encrypts the executable. Now we're fucked because we can't use LAA, which is the only thing that prevents this thing from crashing left and right in triple screen mode.

Yeah, seems like something is wrong with 0.4. Sticking with 0.3 for now, which is near perfect anyway.

Version 0.4 is now up in the Skyrim Detailed Report Additional option: - World FOV: Standard FOV setting, the world, ya know... - Hands FOV: The FOV for the players hands. Changes: - Lock picking scaling is now off. - Map no longer requires any form of hot key and can be accessed in any way, fast t...

The Skills menu works with WASD and Enter. Much better than blind clicking regions in a stretched screen, IMO. Enchanting station has key-bind issues. When the menus are used to select item, enchantment, soul gem, then press F to rename item, sometimes I get a total keyboard lockout where only ~ ke...

5860 x 1080 (set in INI and set to autodetect in the fix) seems to work, except the loading screens are squished. Manually inputting that res results in no menu showing up at the start screen, at the very least.

Hayden's fix is awesome. Occasionally the crosshair gets off-centered but that's easily fixed by hitting tab. The only real issue is on the map, if you scroll sideways, two areas at the very top (Winterhold and Dawnstar, at least, I haven't gone exploring up there) don't stay put and move around. Ot...

Helifax's fix is awesome. Someone noted that the reticle becomes off-centered, but you can fix that by toggling the center/stretched modes; I think it happens when you read a book sometimes. Also, the fix breaks if you read a book and go into a mode that is different from the mode you were in before...

The book-reading hotkey isn't quite working for me. I can see the text (instead of blank pages), but I'm too zoomed in to be able to really read it aside from the center 50% of the pages.

[quote]Hm, it doesn't seem to be quite working for me. The map is fine and the favorites menu seems fine, but the start menu is zoomed in and so is the items menu. And the loading screen, probably some other things too. Not using bezel correction. Just ran the table file via cheat engine and then s...
