I have only been :triplewide: for about a week now. When I booted up this morning, the monitor connected to the display port through an active DVI adapter was black. No error or anything like that. Is this likely a failed adapter? Hope so, I'm on my way to get another one from a local supplier. Hopi... |

How is your audio working? I don't think that the configuration you suggested in the OP will work as you expect. In windows you generally can only select one output device, so you will have left/right coming out just one of your monitors. I realize now that it is front rear separations, so obviousl... |

Just finished running 3 screens on iRacing at maxed details, and had no problem maintaining 84fps the whole time. I almost posted to find out how to get Catalyst running, but thought I'd make sure it was running as administrator and that fixed that issue. Thanks for the help guys, it's safe to say t... |

Shipping was 2 days on the first batch of parts, I ordered, but for some reason the GPU shipment went through two other UPS terminals before getting into town. I expect to see it Monday. Got the rest of it up and running. I cruises with just the CPU and onboard output through HDMI to a HDMI/DVI cabl... |

Thanks for all the input! I decided to go with the 7950 card. I ordered it along with an active DP-DVI adapter and 3 dual link DVI cables. Shipping from Newegg is only 2 days to me. I'm expecting the case, mobo, cpu, psu, ram, optical drives and cooler to arrive tomorrow. The gpu should arrive Satur... |

Sorry for the hold-up. My Logitech G27 has decided that center is about 10 degrees to the right and I got distracted yesterday trying to fix it before benchmarking. I did a test lap in iRacing around Lime Rock and got 110 min FPS, 309 max FPS, and 158 average FPS at 6048x1080 on 2x Radeon 7950s wit... |

Wow, great framerates from that 7950! Thanks for that. The crossfire framerates are insane! I may start with one, then move up to two. Thanks again Bifurk8. |

Points taken. I know I won't use 850 watts right away, but I like to be able to expand without having to replace that too. Since I am getting it for basically half price, $99, it was an easy choice. I'd rather not max out a power supply, anyway. Those things tend to last longer when they are not max... |

The PSU I'm buying is a Cooler Master 850W. Newegg has it marked down $40 and there is a $60 mail in rebate. Can't beat it right now. The system I plan to build will include; ASUS Maximus V Formula motherboard Intel i5 3570k Corsair Hydro 100i water cooler G.Skill Trident X RAM 2x8GB (PC3 14900) Coo... |

Good point! The graphics card will be my last purchase, for sure. Want to make sure the whole system is working before I start depleting any return policies that might be attached to my gpu purchase. |

I just read this review http://www.wsgf.org/article/nvidia-geforce-gtx-670-review of the GTX670, and liked what I read. If I can get between 50 and 60 fps in 3 screens I'll be happier than a witch in a broom factory. I was trying to stay in the $300 range for my graphics card, but satisfaction is mo... |

Thanks Bifurk8. I wasn't aware that Eyefinity was dependent upon display port. Besides iRacing and Simraceway, I like the Grand Theft Auto Series and Call of Duty Black Ops II. I have been mostly gaming on consoles lately, but if this system works out I can see going mainly PC. I appreciate the Benc... |

I am looking to build a multi monitor rig to replace my aging ASUS G72 notebook. I'm not one that demands an insane fps for gaming. I was running my G72 with a 22" monitor at 1650x1050 and getting 59 fps in iRacing. This framerate was more than acceptable to me. I even ran the fps down to 40 to... |

Hello, I have been investigating wide screen gaming for several months now. Wish I could afford to drop $3,000 on a really nice system, but I'm not that well off. I have been gaming on XBOX 360 for about 5 years now, but only recently got a pc that is capable of any decent graphics. My pc is an ASUS... |
