Can someone clear this up for me . My Mboard when connecting my 3x 480's has 1- PCI-E at x16 and the other two at x8 . So does that mean Im not getting any scalling out of the third card compared to running 2x 480's in the first two slots running x16 ? I have never seen and better performance in BFB...

As per the title . Was wondering how well 2x 590's in SLi go with Surround ?

This guy in the video would have to be using something powerful to run that smooth and record .

I have had no CTD's with the new patch on BC2 . But I only just updated the drivers last night to play BF3 beta and I have noticed a significant drop in FPS almost half . But I thought it was due to the game .

I'm not 100% certain so if someone can confirm for me-you 12V Amps are 20V 40V 20V 40V. Could this be causing the fluctuations?

The Thermaltake Toughpower 1500 is on Nvidia website as a recommended PSU for Tri SLi :)

You cannot run a 570 & a 240 in sli !

I think MW2 and myself read your post as 2 different brands of the one card . I also have 2 different brands of 480's and they work fine . But to re-inforce what Sir Biscuit is saying , SLi needs 2 of the same card .

Thanks for your replies everyone . I did end up getting the third card and it didnt make any difference . I might sell all three cards and get 2x 580's . I was hoping BF3 would have better support for Sli but I dont want to take the chance . @ tet5uo , what drivers are you running for your 480's ?
