The combats look absolutely amazing, but because cutscreens are chopped and menus are stretched, the game looks poor. If this had a fix for widescreen I would buy it. (playing demo)

Thanks for the test suggestion.

If VRAM is the bottleneck, then I will probably stick with the 6850s I have now and upgrade later to 2G cards, when the price comes down.

The 2G 6950/70s are currently $50 more than the 1G models, and getting two of them would be $600.

I eliminated MS in my cf eyefinity setup. Try installing CCC 11.10. Make sure that native display adapters on your board are disabled. This is what fixed my system. Keep trying things until it works.

Going to wait another week until consensus builds and/or fixes are discovered.

I just bought an eyfinity setup only to find that titles do not work on release or at all.

Stop the insanity! Why is everyone having so many problems with screen tearing, artifacts, and expensive active adapters? I recently purchased: http://www.ebay.com/itm/170692229239?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 Which is a PASSIVE displayport -> VGA adapter. $12 shipped. Works gr...

Is this as simple as using VGA connection to all three monitors?

Display port can be adapted to VGA, as can the other ports. Do you mean that all monitor's ports need to be the same native type?

I have a crossfire 6850 setup with a 3.8x4 phenomII.

Is this enough to run a game like BF3 at 45+ fps? Is it worth going eyefinity with this setup, or will I have to compromise too much on game settings?
