Finally upgraded to 1.2 and Hayden's 0.8. It's working great, just like 0.3.

Unfortuantely, still no crossfire.

I don't want to hate on the 5870's because I still think they are excellent cards but this driver support is making me go haywire. This is EXACTLY how I feel. I have two 6850s, and with 11.11b, and 11.11c, I am only getting 30-40% utilization of both gpus in MSI afterburner. What is maddening, is t...

Many people have mentioned the "4gb fix" and how that helps stop/lessen the CRASH TO DESKTOP problem. How does one go about enabling/utilizing the "4gb fix" or "...

Here's how I sit. Skyrim 1.2 (definitely noticed a few odd things, the Draugh often do their shouts behind them, instead of at me. very weird) Hayden's 0.7 fix (works great, but it seems that if I have used it once, quit Skyrim, and go to use it again without relaunching the fix, I get odd menus. I...

I am loathe to report that the 11.11c drivers are absolute garbage. Crossfired 6850s, show mild negative scaling with absolutely horrible stutter. Radeon Pro (no profile) reports 75% utilization, but game feels like 5-10fps. This is a step back from the 11.11b drivers which had tiny microstutter and...

It's going to be a long time until the game gets it's final patch, and until then anything the community does will probably require a lot of maintaining, and it's no good complaining about it. This. Because future patches will likely break Hayden's fix, I think it would be reasonable to move forwar...

Does anyone know how saves are handled in the game?

Can save files be copied, and if so, restored in the future? Or are they maintained online?

Note: The new skyrim patch won't hit until Wednesday (tomorrow) for PC. Any problems you are having are not related to the new patch. Im still working well/the same with Hayden's 0.3. The 11.11b drivers did create some missing texture problems, purple trees and whatnot. Meaning to roll back to 11.11...

Getting 2 x 6850 is the most bang for the buck in gaming right now, you can get them from newegg for $125 after rebate, and they are highly overclockable. Overclocked, they benchmark close to $600 cards, with a big caveat. The game has to support and be optimized for crossfire. I think getting two 6...

I am concerned that AMD thinks they have fixed the crossfire issue and will move on and not address this. Possibily it will work in concert with an upcoming patch from Bethesda? My configuration is very common, I would think that getting same-brand 6850s to run the game on crossfire would be easy to...

[quote]Those 11.11b drivers are not from an official source. The download links lead to the official AMD download server and the driver is available via the website: http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/catalyst-1111b-performance.aspx They weren't up when he first posted the link. Thank you.

Yeah, but for 30... I really have to question this. Let's assume for the moment that Back to Karkand is priced at US$15. If you get that, then that brings the total to $45. I got my LE copy from Amazon and paid just a tad over 50 bucks for it. That's a $5 difference for getting it on Day 1. For tho...

I'm still using 0.3. The skills are a bit broekn, but everything else works well. Those 11.11b drivers are not from an official source. If they are still giving negative CF scaling, my bet is they are bogus. Lets not jump to any conclusions regarding AMD's competence based on a "leaked" driver which...
