There is a Black friday deal: Origin is selling the game for 29.99 w/ free shipping. That was too good to pass up. Not sure how much longer the deal is going on. Best Buy also selling the game for half price, but only console versions.

I am stil using Hayden's 0.3 and I noticed that lockpick view is no longer darkened. Perhaps the patch they provided changed something, because that appeared to fix itself. However, I had a bug earlier. When drinking a Tree Sap Potion (?) the one that is supposed to give you +100 health, I went blin...

[quote]I am using Hayden's V0.3 fix, with the newly patched Skyrim. I have noticed there are some mouse glitches. [quote][quote] I'm running 5916x1200 bezel corrected on 2x 570s and get 50-60fps with everything ultra with the exceptions - radial blur off, 2x AA, fshadowdistance=3000 Could it be an underreported SLI issue? If you disable one card, do you get the crash? Well I suppose that now you've fixed it th...

^just a note to the few of us on 3840x1024 or similar res. i see no need for that patch personally. playing on ultra with everything up, all defaults upped. all view distances maxes. fxaa, 16x AF etc. and a few shadow tweaks on the ini to incease shadows on trees and rocks and other stuff. with all...

Just finished a 3 hour play session with Hayden's v0.3 and its working great, no crashes, only the dark lockpick view and wonky skills trees. My setup is simple, I'm runnign a single 6850 (crossfire disabled), high/ultra details with AA=2. FXAA=on, 5760x1080. System has 8GB although I have not used ...

For people trying to run AMD Eyefinity and Crossfire, AMD says that crossfire support will have to be a driver update and cannot be fixed with a crossfire profile. They released a new 11.11a driver today that disables crossfire for the game (no more manually removing card), and adds some performanc...

It's time to storm Bethesda forums. These people are making our lives harder for what, exactly? It's already on Steam. This does nothing to protect the game. It's not like someone can copy and paste the regular exec to some random directory and play the game. And the game is already cracked I bet, ...

These idiots have introduced a patch that encrypts the executable. Now we're fucked because we can't use LAA, which is the only thing that prevents this thing from crashing left and right in triple screen mode. Is this for real!? Does that mean that Hayden's patch will stop working? I may be in a m...

Just tested CF.eyefinity (again) with 11.11 cap2, and it is still seeing negative scaling, although it is not locking up like it did at launch with 11.10. Sometimes radeon pro will report usage of both GPUs at 70%, and will see a slight fps improve, but more often both are used less than 50% and fps...

Honestly I played all weekend with 0.2 and it worked great :D 6048x1080 bezel corrected with 2x 6950's running 11.11 with Cap2 and RadeonPro with the Oblivion profile. Adding this to the Display section in the ini files fixed the flickering shadows for me! fSunShadowUpdateTime=0 fSunUpdateThreshold=2.0 fShadowBiasScale=0.6 Thanks for sharing this! It fixed my shadow issues too. Now all I need is AMD to release CF drivers so I can crank up the details.

With 2 Cards and Crossfire you're not forced to put all 3 screens on one card ? It should be possible to use 2x DVI Port on first card and 1x DVI port on 2nd Card. But i'm not sure if you can setup a Eyefinity System with different monitors. (what exactly are CRT's ?) All the monitors have to be co...

Seems like in order to get the skills screen working properly, the background has to be stretched, thoughts? In trying Halifax's fix, it had a stretched skills menu, and I think the skills menu is the ONLY one that should be stretched. Even though its stretched across 3 screens, all the action take...

You will need a DisplayPort adapter. One of the monitors needs to use the Displayport out on your graphics card. I recommend getting an analog one on ebay ($10). Displyport to VGA works great; there are many problems reported with the digital DisplayPort to HDMI and DVI. You will probably also need ...
