| Skyrim is woefully CPU bound, so unless you have an i7, crossfire doesnt help that much in the "problem areas" (cities). | TESV Acceleration layer is giving me a 25% increase. Looking down from dragonreach to the tree is going from mid 20s up to low-30s, for a particular ultra-ish setting. This with a Phenom2x4 @3.8. Does anyone know if Skyrim uses all available cores? An upgrade to an x6 or x8 would then be worthwhile. |

| I have a theory on the CTD. I have had very rare CTD, only 3 in 80 hours of play. But my video card(s) are 6850s with only 1GB vram. I took a couple days off from Skyrim to play BF3, now Skyrim is broken.
