Widescreen Gaming Forum

I am just getting back in to PC gaming and total noob to this forum and widescreen gaming. I just built a new rig and plan on running a 3+1 set-up with Samsung LED 27" SD590 and a Samsung LED 55" 7000 series TV. I still have a lot of questions even after doing a lot of research. I am still confused on how/best way to run my set-up. Is it the GPU or is there different hardware? I have held off opening my EVGA Geforce GTX 970 because I keep reading about AMD Radeon Eyefinity. Do I need to run a AMD GPU for widescreen gaming or is there another way? Please give me some info and places to research...all opinions are welcome. If you need more info from me, please just ask. Here is my build.

You can run AMD Eyefinity or Nvidia Surround and use a 3x1 Landscape +1 Extended Setup!

As this 970 Card has 2x DVI, 1x HDMI and 1x DP Outputs, and the Monitors have 2x HDMI and 1x VGA input you will need 2x DVI -> HDMi Active Adapters and one Displayport -> HDMI Active Adapter so you cann still connect your TV from the HDMI output to the HDMI input from the TV.
