Indeed. The cursor issue has been fixed in patch 1.06:

Als well as added new resolutions to the launcher (e.g. 2560x1600) which I cannot test myself unfortunately.

Patch 1.08 (recently released on Steam), available soon for retail has also added support for NVIDIA 3D Vision.

Another update, I just downloaded the demo from Steam, and tested the surround trick.
It doesnt work if you turn Antialiasing on, it has to be off.
And when it works, the cursor is stretched again...
Testing in nVidia Surround, 5040x1050.

I'll test this later on, but it's probably a demo-only issue: according to this the AA works differently in the updated full game.
patch 1.08:
* tweaks the antialiasing method, works better now

Here's some updated info for the DR:

==Version==
1.08

==Method==
Native support for both widescreen and multi-mon. Simply select your desired resolution from the launcher app.

==Surround Gaming support==
Native, Hor+. Most of the HUD stretches, but the cursor/crosshair doesn't.
It seems 2x AA is the max setting for multi-mon. The game won't run with 4x AA.

I really need to fire this up. I've started playing with SoftTH for my 5x1-P. Is Trine a DX9 title?

It's DX9 and uses deferred shading + supersampling.
