I've played DHTML Lemmings, and it's pretty impressive for what it is, but it's nowhere near as good as the original. The biggest flaw is that there are only 40 levels, when the original had 120. And the fun of using the nuke to decimate the level is ruined because there's a limit of 10 exploding lemmings at a time. A lot of miscellaneous bugs hamper gameplay. Also, I couldn't get sound working.
Going beyond the original, the Windows 95 version adds some really nice features like a resizeable window, high-res graphics, and a replay feature, which are not present in DHTML Lemmings.
Anyway, Lemmings 95 should be fairly simple to find on an abandonware site. I don't condemn downloading abandonware since the devs don't stand to lose anything because of it, but it's still illegal, so I can't help you beyond making the suggestion.
