Update the First:
One of the games I've seen some movies of is vivisector: beast inside. It was has a cool "island of dr. moreau" vibe going on, but the graphics don't really look all that good atm, hopefully they'll be able to spiff them up for retail.
Battlefront II is really a fun game to play right now. A bit buggy, but it really captures the cinematic feel of Star Wars combat.
I was suprised to hear that Pyro studios, the spanish developers of Praetorians, were making a first person shooter. That'll definitely be interesting to check out.
