Which game? Aside from UT2003, I can't think of any games in recent history where 16:9 requires more effort than 16:10. The worst case scenario is that you would need to use a higher FOV than you would with 16:10.

If it really bothered you, you could use a gamepad like you do for a console. The XBox 360 pad works fine. I'd just as soon use a m+k on a makeshift desktop, though.
