Hey everyone.. I'm just curious if anyone has an experience with gaming on a HD LCD TV (1080p) @1920x1200.

Is it possible? How does it look?

The reason I'm asking is I have the vid cards to push out that kind of resolution and was considering getting a HD TV and plug my pc into it :P

No experience of this but wouldn't 1080p be ... 1920X1080 ?

That res would be great ... it's 16:9 ... even wider ... 8)

There may be some overscan issues though ... lets see if anyone with experience posts ...

I game on an Apple Cinema HD (23"), but I think this is techincally a 'monitor' as opposed to a 'tv'. The resolution you mentioned is the same. For the record, it rocks.

My 61" DLP is three years old and 'only' 1280x720 and it rocks. Can't imagine 1080p being worse, assuming you have the hardware to do that res well.

I'm gaming on an Olevia 232V 32" and so far it's been great. The native res is 1360x768.The price was what was really great...half the price of the others I looked at.
