It's better to spend the cash on a new/extra videocard than getting such a card, it's already been proven that all the effects those cards provide can be done with normal videocards too with some file editing.

That does look cool. Rainbow Six Vegas for the PS3 uses Ageia Physx liek GRAW2, and you an see some differences. Even small things like papers fylign in the wind.

Are u sure abt Vegas uses Ageia?... didnt hear anything abt it tho.

Altho, i havent seen/played PS3 version, but abt the papers flying around, i seen that in PC version too which doesnt use Ageia if im not wrong

I didn't know GRAW 2 was supporting the PhysX cards. Hmmm, tempted to go look at their current prices.

GRAW1 supports Ageia too, i seen the screenies using it, same as GRAW2 which "enhanced" the game with more debris during explosions.

I think the most difference i see using Ageia its on the Internal game, other than better explosions, it added some "liquid" effects, like when shooting barrels.

Cheers

I do own an Ageia PhysX card. But it was out of my computer until recently, where I put it in for just Graw2. So basically, PhysX hardware is a failure. There are only 2 games worth playing that supports it, Graw and Graw2.

I guess they can succeed on the API/Software front anyway, licensing the tech to console game developers and maybe in future release software for PC that supports CPU hardware assisted physics, when quadcores and up become more common.
